I second that. Here here.

Funny, this doesn't look like the Atelier, but somehow it's so familiar. Wait a second...
I'm Nick A! Colleen! Is that YOU? I remember you - that night in October, dancing in the poppy fields. It was swell!
So how's your mom?

*yawns wide and looks around wonderingly*
Ugh...I had a terribly bad dream. I was having this conversation with Sporky and there was this tornado...and Auntie Lil, you were there and Uncle Marv and d'E and Red and sea, and *you* Professor! You helped us kill the Wicked Witch of Minnesota! Isn't that just the craziest thing you ever heard?
*looks down at her ruby slippers*

So sorry, couldn't resist. You might seriously consider continuing your conversation elsewhere. Maybe somewhere a little more private.
If you can remember what it was about.

Colleen,
I think that the backlog of this conversation has been fairly obvious in that people would like for you to learn some basic net ettiquite or nettiquite if you prefer. Barging in on the conversation as you did has served to make people a little less than happy. It is analogous to bursting in on a conversation between friends on a bus. Yes it is a public forum, but the conversation prior to your entrance was between two people. I am curious how you found this particular forum among the thousands of forums on this site. I am not trying to make you look bad in front of the other people in this conversation, but you have shown a bit of a lack of respect. We may be more than happy to make your aquaintence if you are willing to take the time to learn the ropes of this wonderfull site.
Thanks,
Marv

Oh yes, I forgot to answer your question Colleen. I am 25 and 32/64ths.

*knocks on the door and discreetly enters*
Excuse me, but I just wanted to ask Colleen a couple of questions;
firstly: have you tried http://www.friendsreunited.co.uk/ to locate your friend? A number of schools in Singapore are listed:
secondly; is the Magnolia Ice Cream Parlour still on Orchard Road?
*exits quietly*

I am 16, soon to turn 17, if you're interested.
I shall again mention the official Guide to Netiquette, as it appears to have been missed last time.
You'll find it at <./>A644681</.>. It's a good read, if I do say so myself.

My Dad went to Drexel University for two years before he was drafted to fight in World War II.

My father was kicked out of the house when he was sixteen, so he went to Seattle, lied about his age, and joined the Merchant Marines to fight in World War II as well.

Witty Moniker Posted Mar 21, 2002
My father had to quit high school during the depression so he could help support his family by selling bathtub gin door-to-door. Then he served in the army during WWII in Europe as a baker. And his name wasn't Nick.

FG Posted Mar 21, 2002
Come to think of it, I don't have *anyone* named Nick in my entire family, A or otherwise.

Witty Moniker Posted Mar 21, 2002
So... if Colleen is hanging around your page looking for Nick A, she's in quite the wrong place, isn't she?
