I'm a bit more cheerful today, thanks.
Suffice to say, Odo's and my probationary cohabitation experiment is encountering a few stumbling points.

No, just overtired and a bit pissed, thanks very much.
Glad to hear you're feeling better B. These things take time you know. You want to talk, you know where I am.

Ah, as long as that's all it is- don't want an ill Shark on our hands, do we. That could get messy.
Stick with it B, ironing out the kinks is always required.

Depends what sort of kinks you're talking about.
She'll have a while ironing those out...
Cheers, Shark - you're a pal.

"She'll have a while" ???

Thanks, Nyssa - I'm not sure whether to be encouraged or disturbed by that.
Odo has not lived with anyone other than her family, ever. So far, that is proving to a major - but not insurmountable - obstacle.

Just like any serious relationship - you're probably encouraged *and* disturbed.
I hear you're something of a player, but have you actually lived with a significant other before?

I'd never lived with any one before I moved in with Bruce either- the main problem we encountered (which we still have) is I like to eat my weekday evening meal a lot later than he does. Fortunately for me, I'm the cook, so I get my way more often, although I do try and remember to cook early some of the time.

Njan and I have the problem of encouraging each others' unhealthy, slovenly ways. What we really need is to marry a sugar mommy/daddy, and date each other, sneak away with each, while having actual expectations put on us by others. As it is, no one helps me get to bed before 4 am, or to feed everyone dinner before 10 pm, or...maybe this job thing I start in the morning will help . Hmm...

Ah yes, well, that's another one. We cope with that one though The worst aspect of that is our drinking habits- neither of us are very good as saying "no" when the barman asks if we're having another one .

Yeah, but Bruce is loads better than you at saying no to collections of Sapphire and Steel on dvd.
Patience of a saint that man...
