I use beer to work out money- I'm terrible at maths, and figures never line up right in my head, so I find it easier to think of 'a pint', rather than two quid. Yet more of my oddness.

It was sunny when I wrote that. Seems to be couding up. I'm looking forward to a weekend without the fractious flatmate (part of which is my fault, I know). We had our first argument in 15 years yesterday, whcich is a damn site better than most marriages, and I'm kinda sad...
One of the girls here has just been chucked by phone by her alleged boyfriend andd will have to go home.
There's always somebody worse off than yourself.

If this job has taught me nothing else in 14 years, then staying calm in the face of chaos is the one thing I have learnt. 
What I want to know is, considering the world is so full of spineless s, cowards, b*st*rds and the like - WHY AM I STILL SINGLE?
