As to F&M up here, well, when I went away for the weekend a couple of months ago, all the places on the west coast were closed, however up north (north west) everywhere was open. Mostly anything owned by Scottish Heritage is closed. Very depressed I was too.

I will let you know about the situation when I can find some info out. I got a National Trust for Scotland brochure thru last week, but haven't had a chance to look at it yet. maybe tonight, when I get back. Plus I have a couple of websites i can check out too.

Instruments? How does Drums(reasonably), Cornet(not for many years, but can still get a note out of it), percussion of varying degrees, Didgeridoo(badly, can't get the breathing correct). Strum the odd chord on a guitar. Would love to play bass, and my singing voice isn't bad either. You should hear my version of White wedding or Teenage Kicks. (and I'm not joking about those either )

Italy always sounds tempting. (never been yet tho.)
