Off down to London tomorrow.
Leave house 11.55am, walk to station.
Train to Edinburgh at 12.16pm,
then train to London at 1.00pm.
It says it should only take 4hrs 40 mins.
Therefore, I should be in London at 5.40pm.
For once, I wish there are no delays.
I come back on Sunday.
12.00 pm train from London.
The time in between, I hope to have met
plenty of good people. Some old friends,
others as yet unmet. We shall see.
No doubt there will be photos.
Enjoy your weekend,
whoever and wherever you are.

*drops by to give B-17 a big *
And a good alka-seltzer was had by all... erm... I mean time!
Hope you had a good journey home, and managed to get some kip. Poor you, having to w*rk tonight.
Good to meet you. I guess I'll fall into the...
>>others as yet unmet. We shall see.
...category then. Hope you enjoyed the meet-up. My first... but definitely not my last.
>>No doubt there will be photos.

Hello to both of you
Train was way too busy. I have had no sleep and here i am at work. Bleugh!
10 hours to go. So only a 27+ hour day
I had a quick lurk and look at about 8pm, and saw you both on, but didn't have time to log in properly and say Hi.
I got a text message from Coely to say the photos were up. I have been a nervous wreck all day
GB managed to get a seat in front of me, then one stop later got the seat next to me. I am amazed I wasn't hauled off the train at Doncaster! Tried getting on MSN at 8pm from home but it was playing up and true to form the one here at work isn't playing at all. Assume the pair of you are heading to your respective beds soon, you lucky things.
Both check your mail in the morning as I'll email overnight. (keeps me awake, you know)
Hope you are both feeling better than first thing this morning
I had a great time and was glad I managed to get down for it.

Aww sweetie... no You poor thing.
I'm still feeling but maybe some sleep will help. Sure hope so. Long, tiring, uncomfortable, boring journey home, but at least I am at home...
Phil's managed to get both MSN IM and AIM working tonight... now we can hold even more simultaneous and totally confusing conversations at once!
Went bargain-hunting after you left... got me the X Files movie. And saw even more of London by bus.
Really enjoyed the meet... looking forward to the next... Hope you have a 'good' night. Will mail you tomorrow.

Sleep well and I'll catch up over the next day or two
Must have a look at the new smileys.

But of course you do, I wouldn't assume anything less
The reason Mark gave me on Friday for this batch is that they decided to do them alphabetically, so you might be waiting a good while for
The art team are working thru the list as fast as possible, so I might get my smiley yet

You might.
With the BBC, I'm used to waiting for .
Which now reminds me I must check my mail to see if they responded to the one I sent them on 28 June...

LOL, never mind, remember, it's not just they do that with.
Most anything I want to watch on B2C2 generally gets punted.
I kind of have given up trying to watch anything regularly now.
I just spend my time online, and now when I want to be online, I can't because of w**k. *sigh*

They haven't replied... what a surprise.
is almost the only thing I watch... certainly the only thing I wouldn't miss.
But I've got several videos to watch at present, so I'm reasonably
Have you seen Mycroft's photos yet?
For the record I wish to state that I've not seen any of those people before... no sirree...

Babel17 Posted Jul 9, 2001
yes I saw the photos.
Unfortunately I cannot confess to not having seen some of them before.
However, I did meet many people for the first time.
Videos. Now there is something I wouldn't mind doing on a regular basis. Unfortunately I feel obliged to justify any purchase I make. So I just don't bother. Silly isn't it?

I finally gave in to my craving to start an XF video collection last week, when some lovely people told me about the boxed sets at HMV for just £30. And thanks to Phil, I now have the movie too.
I'd only met one researcher IRL before (and he's not in any of those photos), so I guess it's safe to stand by my statement.
It's going to be so tough waiting for the next meet-up now.
Phil says he might be heading this way in a couple of weeks, so we'll have to get together. *if I've recovered by then* Can't believe I feel so still... must've had more than the three pints I remember.
Time to hit the hay, I think.
Take care you. Talk to you soon.
