I know this will probably strike you as an odd journal entry but when you cry, why do your eyes swell? I've never understood this, more now than ever before. If you've cried for a while, and you catch yourself in the mirror, then you'll find that your eyes have puffed up and you can't open them properly. It just seems weird to me. I'm not saying your face should shrink or anything because of the loss of water but still...
Can anyone anser this for me?

Hmmmmm, good question.
I'd imagine that the act of crying encourages the body to send more blood supply to the area around the eyes, so that they can function more efficiently. This would engorge the tissues around the eyes, and perhaps explain why they go red too?
Oh, and i find this a good cure for tears.

Or......it could be the tear makes the bit round the eyes puffy so it can use them as a bouncy castle.

Ah, sorry to hear that mate.
That's the trouble with those tear s, they just don't know when to stop bouncing.

It's alright, I had a bad day and it brought a lot of things back to the surface. I think i'm alright now. At least, that's what I've been telling my teachers.

We all get a bit like that at times mate. Don't forget to talk to people close to you about how you feel. They won't mind, and it really does help.

Yes, a very good film. Satine dying wasn't half heart-wrenching though.

I must admit i shed a tiny one But as i'm madly in love with Nicole Kidman, that was pretty much bound to happen
Actually, i didn't think it was going to be a very good film (bit girly), but i was pleasantly suprised, and i really enjoyed it. I though Ewan was pretty good too.

If you want to know for sure about the tears/eyes thing why not ask SEx? It's linked on the front page.

I believe she did. In a film like that you'd expect them all to do their own singing. Like the cast of Chicago.
I shall go in search of it in a mo BEG.
