Well done mate.
Any exciting stuff this weekend? Or was it all work, work, work?
I know it's not the latter by the way

Yeah, and as the dad of a year 7 student, i believe that of course.
Mind you, he's a boy, you know how useless they are

Yeah, he normally joins in with a few things i've not thought of.
But i doubt if your studies have been affected by watching football all day, or planning your next visit to the nightclub. I don't actually know what girls do for fun to escape study. Is it still knitting?

You're older than I thought *cackles*
Well, I keep myself amused by reading/writing or coming on here and talking to strange people.
Hmmm...
airscotia-back by popular demand Posted Sep 25, 2006
Oh, so now i'm strange AND ancient.....thanks for that
*Removes Ducky from the crimbo card list*
Reading and writing are admirable hobbies though, got to keep that mind keen eh? I remember you saying you got some excellent grades in the exams recently. Does this mean you will be off to Uni in the future to start your career as a famous literary character?
Nice *cackle* by the way

Thank you *bows* I've been practicing my cackle for a while now
I was only joking You're not that old!
Yes, I will be going on to Uni, after college
Hmmm...
airscotia-back by popular demand Posted Sep 26, 2006
No really, i am that old Luckily i cope with it quite well now though, and it doesn't bother me much at all.
Well done on the plans for Uni, tis the way to go. My eldest is in his last year of college, but he's planning on a career straight from there. Too much football in his youth i think is to blame.
What would be the ideal subject for Ducky to study at Uni, and the career at the end? (Please note Cookies, , and CPU related studies do NOT count)

'Course they do! ALthough, if I find a university which provides a course like that it will be a miracle.
Geology would be a more sensible option...
Hmmm...

Wahay Geology.
That's a really smart choice of course actually, because so few people take it anymore. My friends son went to Cambridge to study Geology, and now he's head of department in a University teaching it. Mind you, he travelled most of the world before he took the job. It's a great way to get free travel
As he always said "Geology rocks"

Hehe, yes, I love that fact that I might get to go travelling. If you go on to do A2 Geology at my college you get to go to Iceland *squeals and jumps about*
Hmmm...
airscotia-back by popular demand Posted Sep 29, 2006
*Bad pun warning*
Iceland.........that'll be cool
My mates son went to New Zealand, Hawaii, California and the Pakistan/India border.......i think he was just doing Geology for the holiday destinations
I understand now why you were so interested in Edinburgh Rock when i went to Scotland last time
Keep studying hard........it beats working.
