I never wear them either but the odd thing is that I have four pairs of things - five if you include my metallic blue cuban heeled Doc Martens.

I'm not that bad at walking in them - I can pretend it doesn't hurt until I really need to take them off. Usually. In Birmingham we have lots of canals adjacent to the main entertainment areas, so you tend to see lots of barefooted women on the towpaths.

A sensible lady as well as one of taste... My feet are so cut up I do my best not to wear the things (I have 'skater feet' - ie. they consist of scar tissue, not skin).

i'd never wear shoes that literally cut me...not that many people do it on purpose i'm sure...but the only time my feet have been cut while wearing high heels, it was cos someone with stilettos stamped on my foot...

I work on the grin-and-bear-it principle. The thing is, I'd have to stop skating to have nice feet, and I'm not doing that.
