Well, we got our results for the modules we sat in January.
These go towards our AS-level final grades, except for Maths, which go towards my A-level Maths - I'm doing Further Maths...
Maths, Pure Module 1: B - 78% (2 marks off an A)
Maths, Pure Module 2: D - 57% (3 marks off a C)
RE, Foundation Module: A - 80% (on the boundary line!)
Chemistry, Foundation Module: A - 90% (definitely an A! )
I'm verty pleased with all these results, especially the fact I passed P2! I'll still be re-sitting it though, and probably P1 as well. I may also re-sit the RE exam.

It's funny you should say that Ottox, 'cause that's the only part I *didn't* understand
Just think, without my help in the Maths, Ming, you probably would have gotten that A and C

I might understand the maths (once upon a time I would have understood, I'm sure...), but I don't understand the education system! But I better keep quiet about that, or I'll get Ming ranting about the government again...

Congratulations! I'm happy you're pleased, and good luck with the re-sittings!

Hmmm ... not that much, but anyways, I'll do it again if you need it. I wish I knew more about maths, actually.

Well done! Very well done, indeed!
I don't think you should bother re-sitting the P1 module - you're unhappy with a B??
And re-sitting RE is just preposterous!
But the best of luck with having another stab at P2!
(Aside, just as a note: I won't be on the messenger tonight either, I'm afraid. Gotta revise. )

Thanks!
I want to re-sit P1 because I can easily get that mark up, which will help with my final grades. It could also compensate for exams I take later which I do badly in. Same reason for re-sitting RE.
And I'm sure I'll do better when I re-sit all of them!
(Oh... OK. Good luck with whatever you're revising for! )

OK, OK, good enough reasons, granted.
I think you're only allowed to do better. That is, if you do worse, it isn't counted. Your grades aren't actually allowed to go lower, only higher.
(Thanks. )

Yeah, that's right, the highest grade is counted. And in Maths it'll be fiddled slightly as well because of the ridiculously high fail rate... But I /am/ going to do better.

Goody-good good!
I wonder if I'll ever study mathematics again ...?
