Oh, and when I said I'm agnostic, I meant to add that I follow one basic principal when thinking about things such as the existence of a God:
Anything is possible.
(Just not very probable.)

Uncle Heavy [sic] Posted Mar 27, 2002

How true! One can come to some conclusions, certainly, but no actual proof.

Ming Mang Posted Mar 27, 2002
Why are you suddenly putting the second half in brackets?

so its not probable. that doesnt mean its definately not true. your value judgements are your own. but it is impossible to say with any truth that he categorically exists or not. you should know this, ming, doing philosophy

Yep. But then, I think there is a possibility that you could prove or disprove it.
Convince me otherwise.

i was half way through and then the phone went.
there is no proof for God's existence. but none for his non existence, either.

Chris Tonks Posted Mar 27, 2002
'will od. phone'? Wh-, what does that mean?
I put the second half in brackets simply because it worked that way. I wasn't directly quoting my motto, you know, rather expressing my philosophy.

Ah, so that's what it means.
I agree with you, UH! What I said was that I believe anything is possible. However there is a degree of uncertainty, viz. that some things cannot be proven and disproven.
