My mum's friend's son is in a band called 'The Grand' and he wanted someone to play cello in it.

I play the cello.

Right. Oh, I'm back from vacation now.

Gettysburg, PA for their Civil War reinactment.

Wow.

Cool.

What did that entail. Tell all.

Well, The family and I drove up to Gettysburg. When we got there we found out that the reinactment got cancelled. We were kinda stuck there, so we made the best of it. We did two bus tours of Washington D.C. We saw the Smithsonian Museums. Air & Space, Natural History, American History, and looked through the Freer Gallery's Asian art. We saw the National Cathedral. That was magnificent. As it turned out, my family was the only group of people that got screwed over by the abrupt rescheduling of the reinactment. There was a group of about 100 English guys who had come over to participate in the event. They ended up putting on a "skirmish" in this field behind a store. That turned out pretty neat. All in all, though the main event was cancelled until August, we still had a good vacation. I took some 10 rolls of film. Mom probably did more.

Fair enough.
