Hi, Marjin!!!
Thanks for the link...
Well, KID... start small... their are online journals that want submissions. Ex-Rambling, a wonderful hootoo researcher, runs "Crossroads Magic"-- very much worth looking into. She has contests, too.
Start locally, and start small.
There is a book called something like "Little Magazines and Small Presses" in which you can find MANY places to submit your work.
Have fun, and good luck.

Rustling in the underbrush
Is a poem, yes a poem.
Hidden there since Dawn's first blush,
Still it hides, timid poem,
Fearful lest the world should think
it presumes in its tombs,
So it trembles on the brink,
Poised to open up its wombs.

It's too "accessible," though. I should tinker with it so nobody has so mucha s a clue what it's supposed to be about.

Well it looks like that was what you were going for Paul. It works.
D'fly try opening your puter in the safe mode and select the option no 4 and answer all the questions with a yes or y . See if that clears things up.

.... safe mode!??.. that means nothing to me, dear. I have a friend who offered to fix it a long long time ago. Just a matter of scheduling now.
Take care!!!

You too Lass. I leaned that one from a guy who charged me 45 bucks to fix(?) my puter. I wound up fixing it all the way meself. Course all it was is I had to many programmes running when I was shutting it down. I snitched some programmes of the web to keep things in good running order. Trial ware they were. Well when the time ran out on them. I uninstalled them then reinstalled them and as the French would say voila.*Thanks Lady Scot for the correct spelling on that one* Anyway I keep mine running fine all the time,. Hey yet another rhymed.YAY!!!*snickers*

Yeah, I've done a bunch of things to my computer when it was in the safe mode. But since I'm way lazy, I'd rather have someone else work on it.
Unfortunately, I live alone.

Well Paul I'm a hands on type of guy. I do know I have limitations though. I've yet to foul me puter up whilst fixing it. Still the programmes do most the fixing.I find these to be indispencible. Once I did something I not sure what I had my hands resting on some keys alt and ctrl and messed things up so bad I could'nt do anything wth it. So I opened it up in the SM took option 4 and hit enter on all the questions cranked it back up and wow all was as normal. YaY!!! as the Lady D'fly would say.

will compile a list of markets for snail mailers. check my topica mailing list next week. there's a link on my u page. You do not have to sign up, or spend a penny, just read the list.
For a quick look at DNA publications, who accept snail mail subs, go here:
http://www.dnapublications.com/
this lists requirements and gives addys for snail mailing submissions to several magazines. 8, to be exact.
if you e mail me at
[email protected] with genre and mailing needs, I'll send a short email giving you a few markets to try.
thanks for the plug, dragonfly. We've gone back t for the love of and canceled the contests, but are still accepting submissions.
