The me I talk about.
Hi, all, I'm Peter Vroegindeweij from Rijswijk, the Netherlands. 36 yrs. of age, married, two boy kids, two and four.
I've since two months been employed by COLT telecom as an Installation Engineer. This means I get to muck around with high- and lower speed communication technology, and get paid for the privilege
:-)
Privately, I like to flyfish for anything with fins, enjoy old-fashioned photography, (with actual film, and lenses, and ME making the decisions, occasionally getting out my enlarger, etc:-)), and greatly enjoy computer games, of the "first-person-shooter" type, as well as adventures. And sometimes getting some friends together to test our prowess....
All of this s**t means I sleep all too little. So respond to a posting at a bad moment, and a month may go by without me reading it. Soorrreey.... NOT!
My previous job was mostly in PC hardware, and that remains something of a passion. And although I personally don't need to be at the cutting edge, reading about it is by now much more of an instinct then a hobby. I used to post to Tom's, Anand's, and Sharkey's forums on a weekly basis, but the antagonism wore me out, and I don't post regularly any more. (My handle there is peterv2, in case you're interested.)
So, that's the updated story. More to come? Maybe....
