Nice to see Mike A venting like that. Peta told me a while back that they can't control what researchers say, so I guess he's free to say what he likes. But it won't make any difference. These are not people who listen.

Before I go in search of photos of the PTBs I'm going to speculate publicly about their appearances:

Peta: Bubbly, enthusiastic, petite, blonde, wouldn't dream of not being smartly dressed. Would look good in Jack boots.

Anna: Hmmm, don't know. Probably just 'normal', but trying hard to be an exec.

Mark: 'Monumentally vile'? Actually I've moved on from the vogon theory, on account of his not being thick skinned. I now favour the 'disembodied brain in a tank' school of thought. Or maybe they've built him a new body out of bits of old researchers (ever wondered where they go?) like in 'The Brain of Morbius' - ancient Dr Who episode. Seriously, I expect he's clean-cut, serious and reserved looking, and if the photo was taken in Miami I bet he's sunburned as well.

Any others ideas anyone?

Finally, I've had a request for film footage of male Komodo Dragons buggering each other. No, I don't have any, but see what you get if you leave stuff lying around on the internet where anyone can find it? What will the world in general think if they come across this conversation while attempting to do serious research?

Hopefully they will look over the event horizon and be sucked into H2G2

Io, I thought the glass had to be half full, or half empty to get an accurate measure of the personality in question. Personally I see a half a glass, unless it has (or had) alcohol in it. Then I start ranting about shoddy workmanship in the beverage container department, and finish my drink before any more of it 'disappears'.

I find it's a very effective way of remaining cheerful, although it did used to play hell with my schoolwork.

Lil, thanks for pointing me to the pics, but I had already found them. (They've been moved from the lady Amanda's homepage to an entry titled "The Miami Weekend", sorry no URL to hand.) Don't you think Mark's new body is quite good? He could probably pass as human, at least in Miami, although the head still needs a little work.
