Yes, i read your journal. You have my sympathy, theres nothing worse than clearing up after someones been sick - especially if you're not feeling well either

Last week, i saw my first swallow - sitting all alone on the telegraph wires chattering away to itself. Yesterday, there were loads of them doing their aeronautics all accross the garden centre. Looks like summer is finally on its way eh!

It is, at last - isn't it great to see them back? I could really do with a day just sitting in the sun accompanied by a nice drop of Things are far too stressful round here lately. I've got a cracking new pair of walking boots, and I can't wait to use them! Sometimes, I just feel a little headspace wouldn't go amiss - can't wait to get away to FM, even if it is for educational purposes

You havent had the best of weeks have you Its been a bit stressful at our work place just recently. Now the busy season has started, the management are on edge and picky which makes the rest of us uptight. Oh well it'll be over soon enough.
I'm having my living room decorated at the moment, so i'm living in chaos, which adds to the stress. Good job i have a garden to escape into

Yes, it's just a bit silly at times; quite often I just feel like snoring a few hours away until it all passes! Then you wonder what is the point of living in such a wonderful part of the world when you're always too creamed to enjoy it

Aahh, but when you do get out and enjoy it - you know its all worth it
I often have days where my energy is zilch (long story) and i struggle to get through the working day, get home and collapse on the sofa - thinking its just too much. Then i get a day to spend in my garden and feel so much better for it. We all have things that bring us so much pleasure, its worth the hard times, so we can appreciate the things we enjoy so much more. I sound like a shrink!!!

Should I lie back on the couch and prepare for some difficult questions?

How are the plans for your BIG day coming along? Are you going to do something exciting to mark the occasion?

We're going to the races on Thursday, but not sure what to do tomorrow yet. I might end up on the heath. I'm planning a good lie in, an old-fashioned fry up and a barbecue for family in the evening, but apart from that I don't really know. I just want to take it easy...

We should try to make arrangements for meeting up fairly soon; tomorrow and Thursday I may be a little inebriated, then on Friday morning I'm off up to FM

Oh and i better get the seedlings potted up Would you like some purple toadflax and a couple of Comfrey seedlings aswell?

I'll send you my mobile nember too - the course is scheduled to finish at 4, so I'd get there about 4.30ish, but knowing how these things go I will probably be a bit earlier. Once I'm there and have established a realistic finish time, I'll text you or give you a bell if that's ok It will certainly be mid to late afternoon.

I'm grateful of any seedlings you'd like to donate - we're running a bit short of spare cash, so I'm having to beg what I can to fill in all the gaps!
