There are courses at Flatford Mill again, but it depends whether they are the sort of courses you're looking for.
I bottled out of doing a course last year, the thought of being on my own with a lot of strangers smiley - yikes
Did you ever plant that Dahlia, Little Robert? Mine was huge smiley - bigeyes not at all like the name suggested smiley - laugh

Well, I definitely need to do the John Muir Leader's course, a trailer driving license and some kind of woodlore course. They're all short, so I'll do them locally, apart from the John Muir which I have to go to the Lake District for. That probably leaves me enough time and money to do one other course elsewhere, though I'm not really sure what yet. I would love to back to FM for something, though - it's a wonderful place and I really enjoyed my short time there. Is there anything you have your eye on?

I did plant the Little Robert; none of them took off hugely, but they've all settled in. I can't wait for spring now smiley - smiley

I've looked through the brochure several times and saw at least 5 that interest me. I'd need a mortgage to do all of those smiley - laugh
I meant to be saving as i'm planning a holiday in Canada in 2009 smiley - biggrin Having said that, i still have some money from an account i had forgotten about. smiley - smiley

I'm curious, i thought i only snet one tuber for the Dahlia. Did you divide it into several seperate plants? That would explain why they did'nt grow huge, they will do much better this year smiley - smiley
I had to dig mine up, they would'nt have survived the winter outside here. I will plant them again in April and may even divide a couple of them. smiley - smiley
I can't wait for Spring and the first daffodils to appear. I'm restless and want to be out in the garden, planning an extension to an existing flower bed.

If you do manage to get this way, i'll be able to show you the two new Bee Orchids that have sprouted, they won't flower this year, but it does mean that they are multiplying smiley - biggrin

I meant to ask before, did the frog spawn hatch?
The newts are back in my pond and laying eggs smiley - magic I hope they have better success than last year. That invasion of leeches really was a disaster as far as the newts and snails were concerned. The new snails have laid loads of eggs, so hopefully there will be plenty of baby snails soon. smiley - smiley

Yes, it was already hatched when I brought it home. The froglet I saw today was one of them smiley - smiley
