Why not kahlua? I say that because coffee is *perfect* with almost any pastry. Kahlua is made from coffee beans.

Tia Maria is also made from rum and coffee beans. I don't know the difference between Tia Maria and Kahlua.

I'm not too familiar with Kahlua, but a quick search says they have pretty similar ingredients and strength, but Tia Maria uses sugar as a sweetener, whereas Kahlua uses corn syrup in its place.
