with the other 6 tests for the ecdl I remember that before I clicked the "ready" button I made a cross and prayed I had at least 75 % right (with that you have succeeded, with less you failed) and it always worked out well (the worst was 83 or 87 %)

so with a little luck (and some preparation) it should work

I'm sitting (no - not on top of the bay)
but at my computer, reading my Access-book and summarize it chapter by chapter (this way is the easiest to learn)

that will keep me occupied I suppose, for most of the day

In the evening will be a highlight though, I will go to sing in a chorus

but first, have another with me

I used to sing in a choir, but our instructor died a year ago, and now there's no choir anymore.

I just have started to sing at the beginning of the year, and we meet about every fortnight - so it will take ages till I can sing

We used to meet once a month. What do you sing, soprano or alto?

I do sing alto - always have done so (when I was at school I was in the choir as well, even though my parents always told me I couldn't sing)

So have I -sung alto, I mean.

It is difficult though, isn't it?
I mean, you know a couple of the songs, but of course you know the melody voice which is usually the soprano - so you have to change your mind completely especially if you want to train a little at home

Yes, it's rather difficult. We used to have lots of fun, though.

it is a mixture of clerical and worldly music we are doing

and it is a "women choir" (but the only one near me that I could join, I didn't want to join the church choir since my father was a member of it and 1. I do not go to church very often and 2. I would always be compared to my father, even though he died a couple of years ago)

I never considered joining a church choir, as I'm not religious. Our choir consisted of the parents and teachers of our local 'Grundschule'. There were only three men in it, plus the conductor.
