BABY DOLL

dolls are floating and i don’t care
i can feel love’s in the air
spin me around - i can’t get out
all i can do is fly and shout

look in the mirror and who do i see?
i see a little girl smiling at me
pinafore dress and missing teeth
the little baby looks back at me

voice in my head repeats every word
is it made up or something i heard?
trapped in dreams and la la land
twitch of the finger moves the hand

try to break out - try to break free
but the lock is too strong for me
i’m too little - i’m too small
gotta grow up to leave these walls

dolls and toys all around
my feet they barley touch the ground
i can fly and i am free
but i’m still chained down by my dreams


(I have no idea... but the style of writing seems from a long time ago. I think it was based on a dream I had. I remeber waking up and writing it)



FORTUNE COOKIE

fortune cookie told me to sing and rejoice
for fate is smile down upon me
i think it’s lying, ‘cause I can hear it’s voice
i think fate is laughing at me!

orange juice didn’t taste bad, but it didn’t taste great
i put it in the freezer to cool it off
but now it tastes like cold nasty concentrate
i think fate laughing at me!

some girl ate my folded up fortune object
she said it tasted just like my cat
i don’t have a cat, i think she has lost it
i think fate is laughing at me!

my book wouldn’t open - it smells kind of bad
just like the animal rescue place
tried to open it but i broke the tab

my pizza decide to jump into my lap
i’m honored how the thing just loves me
but now my pants are covered in red crap

went and got chinese again, ordered soup with leek
fortune cookie says i’ll have good health
so i’m expecting to drop dead by next week
i KNOW fate is laughing at me!

(Ha! That one I wrote at 4 in the morning, and it was based on my friends True story of her cursed life. lol. Brittney was complaining about how the chinese hate her.)

Here's a slightly darker poem I wrote a few weeks ago: it doesn't really mean anything, it's just words. It's actually supposed to be lyrics.

ok... i'm in powells class with Waldo and Salty... they are in the band of the totally untalented (except for salty) musical people. Yeah... We'd invite you to join... except you are over there... and we're over here. Plus you can play music... we can't.

oh.. by the way... some of the lirics I posted were from the adaichd band (waldo, salty, and i were going to use them) but seems as we have no musical talent and we are a totally pointless band so far... we give yu permition to use them to write music too and use them in the panda smilie band (working title) instead... as long as the adaichd crew can sing along badly...

I know I have a whole tone of my exams next week. On the last week of school! It sucks because I always get As and Bs, but I have 2 Cs now in my HIGH SCHOOL CREDIT classes which count alot, and the only way I can bring them up is the exam. And I usually bomb tests if I'm nervous. Yeah.. an in math if I don't get a B I have to take Alg. 1 again next year, and that means I can't take my AP honours Biolage class which my teacher went out of her way to put me in. It's suposed to be for 10th graders. I'll be in 9th grade to technicly... I'm skipping a year of science. But if I'm 2 years behind in math I won't be able to.

Heh.... I hate finals! THEY SUCK!... heh sorry
so Ill get to writing the music after rookie camp... next monday and tues... bleh! I get to go help out iwth the little freshies! YEYEE!

so Im still working on the music... its hard! I have a piano, sax and flute and I cant play them all at one time! GRR! is there anyway to record something and then record something over it but be able to hear both parts?
