From what I can gather, far too many folks try to emulate the Americans. Hey, they make a lot of money and seem to have a lot of stuff, so they must be doing something right, eh?

I really don't think there was any risk of severe punishment, or anything to justify any higher intervention.
There was robust conversation and some game play of affrontary
