Hey
Hi, my name is Doug. I live in Calgary, Alberta. I enjoy listening to rock and roll music, reading (my fave writers are Chuck Palahniuk, Douglas Adams, Lester Bangs, Jack Kerouac, William S. Burroughs, and Hunter S. Thompson) and playing the geetar.
I've only been playing two years or so, but people always think I've been playing longer ;). My band is called Fuzz Nixon and we rock.
My favourite bands are Kyuss, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, SLEEP (listening to Jerusalem all the way through is like a relgious experience...fifty two minutes of nonstop DOOM), Pink Floyd, Queens of the Stone Age, early Metallica, Alice in Chains, Jimi Hendrix, Monster Magnet, the Rolling Stones, Frank Zappa and Fu Manchu.
I also like watching movies a lot. My favourite movies are Fight Club, Scarface, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, the Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Payback, the Godfather I & II, Evil Dead I and II, Apocalypse Now, Naked Lunch, as long as it's weird.
