A good start to this day, I went to the papershop and found I had won a stuffed lion in the hospital draw
It is sitting on an armchair glaring at us. I think we will have to give to the local nursery for the kiddie winks to pull apart.
After lunch we decided to go to Camborne and I thought I would drive through Hayle but discovered that the Causeway was roped off by police. Another road death, we haven't heard any details yet but it is carnage on our roads lately. A death a week on Cornish roads practically.
Went to 3M and bought myself shoes and came back along the coast road, it was lovely and sunny and the view from the top of the hill above Hell's mouth was amazing. huge seas rolling in onto the silver sands of Gwithian. Superb.
The Rich cousin 'phoned to ask us to lunch tomorrow but we are booked into Geevor Tin Mine restaurant as the church are having a parish lunch after the harvest festival service.
The bits for my broadband link have arrived and I will be on broadband on one, (unspecified) day next week. The The Boss will not be nagging me because she can't use the 'phone 'cos I am always on line, she says
.
The Boss is really well today, she is up and down like a yo yo.
The Son's wife is still poorly but the Y.G.D. was able to go for her rehearsal last night and seems fully recovered.
The weather changed suddenly this evening and it poured with rain for a while. It is slacking off now but the sky is very threatening

Took the fruit to Pendeen and did the flowers for The Lost Boy.
The Boss stayed in bed this morning but was well enough to get up this P.M.
The Son phoned and asked me to pick up the boys again today which I did.
Lashed with rain this morning but the sun came out this afternoon .
The two girls are both rehearsing for shows this evening. E.D. has her first rehearsal for Cinderella, and Y.D.G for Oliver. The show goes on.
The Blonde next door called me to say she is going to cut the rest of the hedge on Monday.
A very ordinary day.

had to go back to Truro today. The Boss bought a skirt Monday, it didn't fit so today we had to take it back.
However there was a big marquee in the Piazza and it was full of Cornish craft people showing there goodies and I found a beautiful pottery figure which I bought for my godson's wedding present. The wedding isn't until February but I might not see anything as good again.
Had a phone call asking us to pick up the boys from school. Now the Y.D.G. isas well .Two down four to go?
We also bought fruit to make up a basket for the harvest festival at pendeen.
The Boss has been really well today And so has the weather warm and sunny

usual Wednesday stuff. Saw A.the V. this morning. came home and helped The Boss do a bit of housework then off to meet the gang. We sat outside the cafe it was so warm, and laughed like drains over the nonsense we were talking. Then over to pick up the three youngest from school.
The Boss is in my bad books. While I was out she tried to cut one of the hedges. The Blonde Next Door has said she would cut it and has done so once but it is probably too much for her. I can't do it and The Boss shouldn't. I may get it dug out.

To Treliske hospital this morning. The Boss had to go to see the specialist about her arthritis. She came out with another wrist and hand strap and the information that she is to have an operation on her knee sometime in January. And so it goes on. We went into Truro to see if she could find something for the wedding next February. When I said I thought it a bit soon she told me that all the winter fashions were now in the shops and February would be too late to get anything. I'm only a bloke what do I know?
We picked the three youngest up from the Other Grannie in Pz to bring them home and were told that 'The Drama Queen' A.K.A the Y.G.D. has been successful in her audition for a part in Oliver but also has a lead role in her school production. So that pleases.
The Son's wife is poorly and not at work, The Son and all the kids are fine. The Boss is in good spirits in spite of all the stuff she has going on. Me, I just go with the flow take it as it comes and try to keep smiling. I was a bit concerned at lunch when The Boss had problems trying to cut up her lunch with both hands strapped up but she wouldn't let me help her.
We ate in Truro cathedral's Chapter House cafe and very good it is too and reasonably priced.
Another grey cloudy day, no wind and fairly warm. The sea as flat as a mill pond.
