mushy peas are foul. I only likes me peas garden or petit pois, frozen... Marrowfats and the like are just

nu mustard in my mash, please, but whole grain mustard on the side will be welcomed

and not too mushy peas either, they should just be lightly boiled in slightly salted water to preserve their taste and most of their crispiness

Frozen - into pan of boiling water until warmed through (I usually just wait until the water boils again, that's usually enough time) then drained and drowned in butter and maybe a touch of fresh chopped mint if a) I have any and b) it works with what else I'm having

tonight i'll have pasta and veggies in cream sauce with a veal chop on the side

and with for dessert

Pasta's not a side dish!

ha! in my kitchen a could be a side dish!

So, what goes well with aand what wine would you serve?

Oh, and I'd serve it with black-eye peas and bamboo shoots...

Something with lamb tonight.... NOt sure what though... I'm tempted to continue in my spicey food ways and have yet another soemthign involving rediculusly vast amounts of spices and handfull s of fresh chillis and pickled chillis and corriadner Though maybe I should have a change

"Fresh Lamb Steaks 393g" I'm guessing* there are two steaks in the pack and I'll have one tonight.... Guess I could just fry it as a 'steak', or get itchy and dice it up and do maybe fahetas or ... something mmmm, fajitas sound quite tempting actually... could do some potato wedges to do with it and salad, and I've plenty of chillis and I've a jar of salsa I think and tortyllas/wrap things in the cupboard and onions...a nd mushrooms... and garlic.... and maybe do rosmary or corriander roasted potato wedges to go with it whaja think?

i made tikka marsala with diced veal yesterday. have to admit i made it from a DYI-kit, but it was quite good
