Hop on your bike and off you go then.
Let's see you taking lots of photos and giving them a good boost, they need it.

Make sure you don't have any bullets with you.
We don't like them.

I'm sure lofty has no intention of bringing bullets.
What will you bring with you, Lofty?

No, I am not. Why do you ask?
I was pretty annoyed at the number of houses I saw up for sale earlier.

It's interesting how posts move off topic given time, I clicked on this thread expecting a great depth of martial art discussion
so just to bring things back on track, what style of karate did you or do you practice, I practice Shotokan

Yes i too used to study shotokan ,i need to work on my "kyhon" i think , but i will definately be back at it again some time in the future.
Do you train on a regular basis at the moment?

well have been training since the 70's so now a very battle worn 3rd dan, but really we are just students of karate relative to the top exponents....kihon, your basic, yes we all need to work on them, even after all these years I seem to forever be striving to improve my form...if your not training at the moment, well nows a good time to get back in the New Year, best type of total body fitness(maybe one of the best)

Hello Master, i know i am not worthy but any crumbs of wisdom that come my way are very welcome.
I am glad you are still training , i am glad for so many ( like myself ) get so far ( in my case around 4th kyu , i trained in a different style [ Tang Sou Dao ] which was virtually the same , they start with a few basic khyon kata then have there own version of the heins before going on to there own unique sets, for a couple of years [i got no further than the Hiens there too] ; which has rekindled my enthusiasm for it all .
I did briefly visit my old dojo , a short while ago, and after 20 years it is still going strong with my old Sensai there, still, and after 20 years he still remembered me ( eventually )who was an uncoordinated scruffy schoolboy at the time, now i'm an uncoordinated scruffy oldboy .Yea a few lessons with my old club showed me how much i need to practice my kyhon; your right no time to start like the New Year .

Please!!!!! not Master....very few deserve that title, I am a guy who just happens to have trained for along time but still really just a student like yourself, just think, if you had kept your training up during the past 20 years you would most likely be a dan grade by now. If you are looking for text books to help with your kata work, check out Karate Kata Applications: by Aidan Trimble (Author), P.M.V. Morris (Author) an excellent book, Aidan also happens to be the Chief Instructor to the association I am affiliated to.
