smiley - wowI have to say that this sounds very novel to me.
Maybe it could be expanded so that the general public could get to
interview prospective bankers, traders and others who have the potential
to screw the economy, and us.

I *like* that idea!

But then again, if we held elections for those posts, nobody would vote then either. smiley - tongueout

I had the opportunity a couple of years ago to interview - with my boss - candidates for a vacancy in my office. Of the three that made it to the "final round", my boss asked me which I felt was the best candidate.

They ended up hiring the person I suggested, and I have regretted it nearly every day since. I sincerely hope that this person was not offered the job solely on my suggestion (which would actually be quite unusual), but if I ever find out that my "vote" was the tie-breaker, I would just have to curl up in a ball and cry.

Hope the same doesn't happen for you, Shea!!

Well, none of us in marketing liked the candidate. They ignored us. Now we have to interview him again tomorrow. I suppose so we can realize how very much we didn't like him.

I get the feeling they're going to hire him, and I don't understand it. This is a director position in the company. I think they should interview more than one person!

But what do I know? I'm just a peon.
