From what I'm able to gather, you must have inadvertantly subscribed to Matt's journal entries... Lord knows, it's an easy thing to do by hitting the wrong button. Afterwards, every time Matt wrote a new journal entry, his pre-programmed journal headline would pop up with your name in it, and you saw a rude message, apparently directed towards you, and of course, you were offended. After all, you didn't know this person from Adam, and here he was calling you names!
Believe me, his message was not directed towards you, Also Ran. It would have popped up with the name of whoever happened to pass upon it. I'm sure Matt never dreamed he would have hurt you with his little trick headline. No one in their right mind would speak to you in such an off-handed manner, Christiane. Mind you, I don't know Matt.... I simply see what has accidentally happened and wanted to help.
Again, forgive my meddling in your affairs.
