I was almost in the play "Harvey". I was cast as Elwood, but dropped out when we got pregnant. It was one of the roles I always wanted to play. The others were the husband in "Barefoot in the Park" and Juror 8 in "12 Angry Men". I was asked to be in "Barefoot" but it was dinner theater and that's not fun. But I did get to play the Henry Fonda role in "12 Angry Men" Which was great fun.
We hope to catch a show on Cape Cod. We hear there is some good summer theater there.
Well if I don't talk to you again before I go - have a great week and a half and see you on the 20th.

We did! Thanks
Cape Cod is beautiful and fun, I would move there today!
(well I would have to pack-up alot of stuff first, so maybe tomorrow)
Cincinatti was great too. Being that it is a smaller tournement than the US Open the players are all more accessible.
You'll be walking along then you notice you're walking next to Patrick Rafter.

The weather?
Different every day. On Cape Cod we had a rainy day, a sunny day, a very windy day, a humid day, etc.
Though at the tennis tournement Saturday night in Cincy we were hit by a huge 1-1/2 hour long thunderstorm during the evening match with no decent cover. (we were trapped under the stands in 10 inches of water) Food tents and umbrella tables flying everywhere. Dozens of cars were flooded over on the golf course they use for parking. It was incredible! (I love rain storms)

I don't think the US Open can offer the same diversity. When I watch on TV all you get is airplane noise!

They divert the air traffic while they're playing tennis, though. They don't do that during Mets games.
The story behind that is when they were looking for sights for the new stadium, the scouted during the winter, when the air traffic patterns are different. They didn't realize all the jet noise until baseball season had started.

But did they have to build the stadium on a runway?

I'm just waiting for the inevitable disaster to happen ... an Irwin Allen production!

I've been roped in to see worse movies. Take Jaws 3D. Please the memory still haunts me!

I think my worst movie I've ever seen was "The Villain"
starring Kirk Douglas and Arnold Swartzenegger!
I wish a was in it and ate the director.

It was so bad, it seems I had to say it twice.
How was your weekend? Get out to a Mets game?
We are a step closer to selling our house and land. Had two showings and an offer come in (man I hate keeping the house at showing cleanliness)

I can't imagine!
No Mets games this weekend. I took my 4 year old niece to the beach, and went to a party yesterday. A nice full weekend!
School started today also. I won't be online during the day much for a while. Guess we'll miss each other.

Not if I work late like tonight.
I can thank or blame General Motors for that.
When your that big a company you can mess up whoever's life you want to.
Your trip to the beach sounded great.
The beach is where my wife and baby were while I was here.
But the overtime is nice after vacation expenses.
