Hi Prof ,

The specs have been sorted, and I can now see everything much clearer . I have been having terrible problems with the arthritis in my neck and spine, it was so bad last week I just couldn't cope with the pain and went to my G.P. for advice.

I am now on a strong painkiller which I take with my normal painkillers for about 3 weeks. It does help a little, but the affect wears off after a couple of hours. It is just a case of waiting for them to get used to my system and start working.

I am on holiday next week, down south, so that will be a break and change of scenery .

I am still around hoo-too, and enjoy reading your articles for .
