Hi there
Galigan Posted Dec 4, 2006
It was very good. I was at my friend Caroline's house (that's the one I'm always going on about, it's probably easier to say her name) and it was me, her, 2 guys called charlie, james, terry and ellie. Her mum is the most incredible cook and she fed us constantly! It was incredible! We also saw Casino Royale which is by far the best film I've seen recently. But they destroy the most beautiful car there is! How could they? DB-S. DB-S!!!
Anyway it was good and quite relaxing. Got to get back into work mode now though and sort out my work, my stuff for my interview and my school mag stuff which is up on wednesday. The head announced it today and said 'it's finally going up on wednesday'. What cheek! If he thinks he can do it faster then I'd like to see him try!

Just thought you'd pop that one in did you? Maybe I'll apply there if I fail to get into Cambridge this year and decide to reapply. Though if I don't get in I don't know if I want to study law anywhere else.
Hi there
Raven - I think I know what happens next Posted Dec 5, 2006
Is it really and truly law that you want to study? Why don't you go into music or acting or something? I think you'll be goood at that. But you must decide for yourself I guess. It's just that we have a lovely drama dept at the uni here with one of the biggest theatres in SA...
Hi there
Galigan Posted Dec 5, 2006
I want to do law because it means I can make a difference, and it's actually really interesting. There's so much of it and it's always changing so there's no chance of getting bored. Plus I can go into music as a lawyer and work that way if I like. And with the law degree I can do pretty much anything career wise. I'd love acting or music but my music abilities aren't particularly fine tuned and my acting's just for fun and I couldn't see myself doing that professionally even though I'd probably love trying. At my college though there's a lot of drama and music stuff available so I can keep it up while I'm there.
Hi there

Hey, you can't say I didn't try.
I'll keep trying though.
Have you seen the movie Find Me Guilty with Vin Diesel? He plays an Italian mafia-type person wheo decides to defend himself in court when the whole "family" gets bust. Very good movie. Different kind of role for Diesel too.
Hi there
Galigan Posted Dec 5, 2006
Certainly.
Can't say I've seen that one actually. The last Vin Diesel I saw was probably The Pacifier which I thought wasn't too bad. That one's also a bit different for him because he's effectively playing a babysitter.
Hi there
Raven - I think I know what happens next Posted Dec 5, 2006
Yeah, that wasn't a bad movie either.
I so need a TV!!!
But at least I have a beautiful view. Makes up for a lot. I had my CD player going last night with nice, relaxing music and was sitting outside watching the sunset. My deck looks out over the nature reserve on one side and the entire city on the other - I'm not in the city, but I can see the whole area all the way to the ocean I just sat outside and watched the sunset, coz then the city lights come on and it really looks beautiful.
You should've been there.
Hi there
Galigan Posted Dec 5, 2006
You don't have a TV? What's all your furniture pointed at?
That sounds like a really nice place where you live. Did your company put you up there? I love sunsets but I'm not getting many at the moment, probably because they now happen at around 4 in the afternoon and there's buildings in the way. My house is nice for them though, we get it through the trees, and when we're surfing in the summer sometimes we stay out until the sun's gone down, or if we don't we watch it from the beach restaurant whilst eating some of the best chips in the known universe. Your view sounds really nice though because you sound like you're looking from high up. Most of the time those view are the best.
I would like to have been there.
Hi there
Raven - I think I know what happens next Posted Dec 5, 2006
It's all pointed at the other furniture......which is pointed at more furniture......which is pointed back at the first lot of furniture...
And my microwave gave up the ghost this morning.
I'm actually living in Kloof which is about half an hours drive outside of Durbs. It's high up and green all year round. I'll take some photos of the view for you tonight and send them through tomorrow
So you're a too? We have nice waves here...
Hi there
Galigan Posted Dec 5, 2006
It's like a quantum loop!
Don't you just hate technology? Well, sometimes, other times it's great. Like cars. I saw Casino Royale and now I am officially in love with the Aston Martin DBS. Daniel Craig's not half bad either, but if I had to choose one to take home with me it would be the car, no question.
Is it a really cruel thing to do to call my first born child Aston?
Cool. I have some nice Jersey ones I can send you.
Yeah I'm a surfer, I thought I told you that at the beginning somewhere. The waves in Jersey are nice but they're not huge. Well formed though. And it's a really good beach where we go, really long and there's car park bit all along it. The one we go to is called Secrets and it's second on the left after the leaning tree.
Hi there
Raven - I think I know what happens next Posted Dec 5, 2006
Aston Martin's are nice
And there's nothing wrong with calling a kid Aston - my name's Raven, remember?
So you're online a lot more today? That's cool.
And I have a contact with a private beach...
Hi there
Galigan Posted Dec 5, 2006
Yes they are.
Yeah buy my second name's weird already so a weird first name with it could get my kid bullied!
Yeah I have 4 free periods this morning. 3rd one's just finished and now I'm in break. Been writing an essay too which I've just finished.
Private beach eh? Just imagine what one could get up to on such a beach. There'd be no-one else there to steal your waves or drop in on you.
Hi there
Raven - I think I know what happens next Posted Dec 5, 2006
So what's your second name then?
Are you on email at all, or is the filter up?
And quite frankly, I'd like to get you alone on private beach
Hi there
Galigan Posted Dec 5, 2006
It's de Figueiredo. Little 'd', big 'F'. We think it's Portuguese but I'm not. Don't really know where it comes from.
I'm on email now but I don't know if you're online right now. Oh wait, you are. Awesome.
I bet you would.
Hi there
Raven - I think I know what happens next Posted Dec 5, 2006
Yeah I'm here for another half hour
Sorry - when you said second name, I thought it was another middle one.
And of course I would Now stop doing that to me!
Hi there
Galigan Posted Dec 5, 2006
Cool, me too hopefully but I need to pop over to reception and book a ticket for Friday's Jazz evening at some point. Then rugby.
My middle name's Don.
Mate, just wait till you get my latest email!
Hi there
Galigan Posted Dec 5, 2006
I do but I'm not in this thing. This is for the jazz bands and I'm currently not in any of them because of time restraints.
*checks email*
So. How's the weather your end?
