Phew. Oh rats, I've got rugby in a minute.

So how was rugby? Which position do you play? (in a rugby context of course - otherwise that question can be regarded as very rude...)
And it's your show's opening night tonight!!! Are you excited? How's your throat? Don't go get knocked in the jugular at rugby practice That won't be good.
So what did you get up to last night?

Thanks. Love that entry! There's still bloopers in it though that I pointed out to the editor but they weren't fixed, like Silver Link which isn't in italics and the link going to the wrong Scotsman entry. Still good though.
Rugby was ok, bit of a fun session. I'm a second row, or lock, and a forward which means my lot do all the work while the backs stand around and look pretty. We actually swapped for a while and I literally just stood there on the wing not doing anything.
Yeah I'm kinda nervous, but it's good nervous because it's excitement not just fear. Hope it all goes well tonight. I'm going to the san (medical centre) to get some throat stuff later just in case.

So are you inbetween class at the moment?
You're the guys in rubgy that do all the scrums and that...? *wonders about taking up rugby...*
And I know you'll be great at the show! *manly *

At the moment it's lunch break and i'm skipping rugby today because i can't be arsed and i need to go to town to get presents for musical people. Plus I hate rugby. And I always have, that wasn't in reply to your comment. I thought at the end of 5th form I'd quit but there's nothing else to do. The matches aren't that bad it's just the training really.
I'm really looking forward to tonight actually. Had a singing lesson today and my teacher's going on about the thrill you get that you don't get in any other career. I love it!

You know you sent that one twice.
Thanks. I'll let you know. Probably put it in a journal entry though but you get those anyway.
My email connections been severed by the filter again. Stupid school.
Still, I'm missing rugby and I'm only feeling a little bit guilty. Normally I wouldn't but most people don't go on wednesdays and I've been to every single one so far, plus there's the musical so I figured I'd skip and sleep, then have time to go to town and get what I need, plus deodorant and food and stuff. I miss food.

Maybe it was just an excuse to you twice...
Actually I thought if I hit stop and then finished typing and then resent it it would work - I didn't know it had sent it through already.
Good idea to skip rugby before the show. You need to save up your energy. I hope you don't have rugby tonight as well. Just a question...if you don't like rugby, how come you play it?
And are they starving you in the boarding-house? Places like that have a bad habit of cooking so bad that people end up starving anyway.

Nah, it sends it anyway.
Yeah I really needed to miss it yesterday. Got a good half hour of napping in before going to town to get frames for present pictures. And I do have rugby today as well, more's the pity.
Well I don't mind matches if they're home plus it's good for keeping fit and my parents can watch me when they come over to see us. Without another main sport to do there isn't really much else to do that I would be able to be consistently motivated to keep doing, plus after the last 2 matches of this season I'm giving up rugby forever. I'm thinking that'll feel better knowing I did it all the way through and didn't just quit whenever. Don't know if that makes much sense. Also the team needs me because of injuries and people moving up to the 1sts. Without me they don't have a scrum or a line-out.
We eat in the main dining room which is quite good actually (most of the time) but I meant that I didn't have any snack food here for the evenings because I haven't been able to go to town for age. Now I have muffins.

We never had sports. For us it was street-hockey As in, everyone was wielding hockeysticks (didn't matter which way you held them), all on rollerblades and with no rules It got horribly rough - you just rammed into people if you wanted to get the ball from them Friendly lot of hippies, aren't we?
And I like Twinkies for snack food. Yum...

That's terrible!

Except ours are slightly different in SA. They're highly addictive...
