Fine, for those of you who are foriegn devils, the national dish of England is Fish & Chips, chips being big french fries not potato/corn chips. A Chippy, or Chipshop, is where you buy this delicious morsel, ergo saying that you'll sleep at the chippy can be equated to you'll sleep with the fishes
