You're musical? What do you play?
I'm a muso too... (sort of).
I'm hoping to start a band some day. That's when I get members. Or at least willing ones. It's kinda hard to jam with hostages taken by force - never the same atmosphere.
(OK, I get it, I'm ranting. I'll stop now before I put my foot in my mouth (too late)).

ya, im an alto Sax... im in marching band, Jazz band concert band, pep band, and wind onsomble. im buisy! I want to sart a band, but i cant cuz we are all wind players... what do you play?

I don't even have one of my own - I've been resigned to borrowing friends' guitars. I know one guy who's really really good at it, but he doesn't want to teach me - too busy playing the White Stripes or something...
Wish I could play, though.

Yeah - I hated it when my parents told me they were sending me to a girls' boarding school...
I was perfectly happy where I was, but apparently my folks care more about my education than my happiness...
At least I get a break from my family . It's actually OK now I'm used to it, but I still miss co-ed schools - single-sex sucks!

Yeah, we have a music school and everything, but me being me, I'm not involved with it. I don't like other people telling me how to play my music. That's why I'm trying to start a band here - so I can play with someone else who won't tell me how to play my instrument.
I'm not completely deprived, just lonely.
Except for my roomies, who are all really cool.

I wish I could join your band - you do jazz, right? Or marching music?
I used to be part of a brass band - I played snare and marched with them in the ANZAC Day parades. Heaps of fun, but sitting through the dead boring ANZAC speeches every year was... well... boring!

um, i do both, well, i have to try out for jazz band, im not sure if ill make it or not...
... but if i try out for tenor sax then i almost definatly will make it... im soo nervous! and our first marching show is in 6 weeks! we havent even gotten the first song done!! *curls in little ball* it gives me a stomach ahce to think of it...

I can never have an all-time favourite song, because I love so many of them, but I like "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana, "Fortune Faded" and "Otherside" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, most of REM's stuff (in fact, most stuff by the other two bands as well), "Stumblin'", "My Happiness", "Rockin' Rocks", "On My Mind" and heaps more by Powderfinger... I could go on forever...
