Paintball?! Really?! Fun!!!
Do you all think I should get something up without the graphics? Our tea room guestlist is growing. Villa de la Vavoom reminds me of Cruella de Ville. hehe!

Yes! I would if I were you Mary, otherwise we're going to procrastinate until this time next year...
*Bangs her shoe on the table, in place of a hammer*
Right! "Villa de la Vavoom" and Mary's kindly doing the graphics for us! Is this okay, ladies? Do you still need me to find a map or are you going to check out the address that Pandy gave a couple of postings back...

I'll do my best!

Your best sounds just fine to me! Get something started and then add to it "as and when". Apologies for not much input this week. Same excuse as Gwennie.

Thanks for the confidence. I have the bare bones posted at http://www.h2g2.com/A404191
Am working on graphics, and would appreciate any better descriptions than what I have up...

Go for it Mari-Rae!!! You'll do well & as said, we can always add to it! Vavoom!!! If I didn't touch up my hair...I'd look like Cruella de Ville! (without the spots) Going 'blonde' mainly from my 'widow's peek' all to one side! And all black hair on the other side!
Same excuse as Gwennie?!? Having your STD seen to? Tisk-Tisk! Oh my,
that's it then...the condom dispensers MUST be available at every possible location!

STD? You mean "Suffering, Tired and Distressed"??? Remember, it's the start of the school six weeks summer recess here in the UK and Coely and I both have bored and argumentative sprogs under our feet at home!

*Looks at packed sleeping bags and rucksacks with glee cos kids are off to camp. The mock courtroom in the corner of the house can be dismantled for a while.*

HOLD IT!
The tearoom link on the page takes us to this planning forum, when we really want folks to go here: http://www.h2g2.com/F27622.

Thanks Coely...thought I was more confused than what I am
My, how you go on about six short weeks (giggle)! Move to the US where the rug-rats are home for over three months for the Summer, three weeks at Christmas & so on...Hey, maybe that's why so many American women have bald spots!!! The little buggers hang out at the bridge just below the cabin. And did you know there's a law against shooting them?!? I must think of a way to scare them...the hubby won't allow me to drive long nails from under the bridge, so the little sperm/egg combs will get poked & stop hanging around & being so loud! Any ideas on how to scare them? There are scarey stories about this road...for years now boys have brought us girls out this way to get us to sit close to them! Gore Orphanage Rd! UGH! What a name!!! Said I'd NEVER live on THIS road...& here I am! BOO!!! (boo-hoo-sniff)

Mine are grown and married and now I want grandkids to spoil because I miss my little babies. ~sniff~ But there are none in sight.

Coely, why do you want people going to the address you posted above? It brings you to this planning forum that we are in now. (confused easily)

Can I suggest we ban all 'rug rats' from the village, or at least devise some kind of special place for them just outside. (ie a large pit).
You could always sneak out and saw half through the bridge. Or rig up hidden speakers and play ghostly wails at appropriate moments. Or dress up in 18th C costume and float 2 feet above the ground with you head under your arm. Or...........
*Coelacanth gets quite carried away with the whole idea*
Who named the road? It's horrid.
My little dears are here:

So listen.
It's the sound of me being able to hear myself think.

coelacanth Posted Jul 29, 2000
Dear 'confused easily' It is enrirely possible that I am completely doolally, in which case, add a sanitorium to the village immediately, and send George Clooney over to look after me :-). Here is what I think has happened. The actual link you have put in the code (and I mistakently put up previously) is the same thing! It takes us to Gwennie's Message centre where _both_ the tearoom and the discussion are to be found. The discussion is the latest thread, and that's why it comes up. What you need is the thread bit to take you to the right one. http://www.h2g2.com/F27622?thread=58959 is the tearoom. I've made this mistake before. ><>

You've sent your darlings to an island full of vicious peacocks and rotting carcasses of killed off deer and squirrels????
Just kidding, the island sounds like a wonderful adventure for them!
(Check out the tea dance, Gwennie just got french kissed!!! )

Ok, fixed it, thanks!

Does that mean I don't get looked after by George Clooney then? Never mind. I'm doing just fine with Mr Bond

yes you are!! I just put up a graphic of a village, so the site is basically set. Fun!!
Thanks for the Golden Teacup, Gwen!
Moving the tearoom?
Gwennie Posted Jul 29, 2000
I've just checked the Villa and it's wonderful, Mari-Rae! Thank you, you clever girlie, you!!!!
Here's a golden teapot to match the teacup!!!
Kids! Hah! Actually, my two are being very well behaved as "Granny Joyce" (John's mum) is visiting today, so they're on their best behaviour!
