Okay, people Let me have your retention, please!
I need something, anything.
Is anything close to ready?
Anybody got three or four entries they don't know what else to do with?
C'mon!
Or I'll write the whole damned thing myself.
I've done it before.
"Never mind who it'll hurt! It'll hurt, buster!"

A2394254 - too short? I can't think of anything else to put in. I like the pieces but they're so short that saying much feels top heavy.
I haven't touched the boiler plate.

Thanks.
In another thread Jwf threw an issue that he'd put together at me.
That will be next weeks issue.
I will copy this over to my space and do a little juggling just for appearance sake and a little punctuation. Other than that, no problem.
I am trusting that you have tested all the links.
I may have a bit of trouble later in the week with my server bill, so if I don't say otherwise, ask Shazz if she's gotten this on Friday evening, England time.
If she hasn't, give her the version on my space.
I'll give you the A # as soon as I've copied it.

Okay. Here it is, with it's hair slicked back and it's shirt tucked in.
I'll bop it to Shazz this morning just to be on the safe side.

I had checked all the new links. Having copy/pasted the previous CAC C issue I took the others for granted. I can check those this evening.
Good luck with Server Bill.

When in doubt... write about sheep.
No.
Clothing? Women? Men? Politics? The future? Off beat history?
Some possible topics are at A2194661... which I took those from.

Isn't that the theme from "The Addams Family"?

Okay, I looked at them.
None of them really ring my bell.
Pick three or four at random or out of perversity, and I'll find some obscure manner to link them in an issue.
And I'll leave your name out of it, if you wish.
Too tired to really think today.
Have a possible j*b i*******w coming up Tuesday and I'm busy trying not to think about it.

Who me? I don't have much time today, I'm afraid.
I can probably do it tommorow. But I don't know how soon you need it.

Tomorrow would be more than fine.
If I get my brain in gear and beat you to it, that will make two issues worth. I'm just trying to have something ready by the middle of next week... or before this stupid machine finally crashes... or my land line gets cut off for non-payment...

Just trying to maintain some continuity so there is no panic... on my part.
Do what you please.
Thanks, Jwf. I'll look at it later.

Ah.
In Re: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/A2411380
I think you can safely make a single entry issue out of that if you want to.
If you want to pad it out, throw in some odd bit of flotsam of mine from the AGG/GAG days, like "Somebody's Mother".
And tell him I had some paranoid moments with that "remove" thingie.
I didn't know Jodan was a female....

"I'll try my best not to make you do too much work, TS."
Don't worry too much. If I have something to react to, I'll be fine.
I'm just having trouble using my imagination at the moment...
Except to imagine how much I might hate this job if they offer it to me...

Oh dear it sounds like your interview went well then...?
Or, have you had it yet?
Good luck anyway. It would be a change of pace, and even if you end up hating it, remember any change is usually a good thing.

I am out and about today with much busy-ness and stopping only a moment at the library to log on. I can probably lump gecko's piece with a couple of short snappers by Wednesday for next week. That is to say, I'm assuming this week's issue has been sent to shazz already? Yes?
peace
