Saturday would be nice. Any effort would be much appreciated.

Good to be back, Waz, although I've been lurking for a few weeks now trying to catch up with the backlog.
I'll see what I can patch together for an issue by Sat. I'm not sure what I'll be able to accomplish now that I seem to have suckered myself into two RL jobs, mining for the UG, and cobbling issues for the CACC. I'm beginning to sound like Jodan. Anyway, I'll have a few hours a day online to figure this stuff out, and I already have an idea that I need to research for the issue. Just need one or two more entries to flesh it out.
By the way, are we still making copies of the entry at the CACC space?

Welcome to the dark side.
Of course, overacheivers have the benefit of getting justified vacations.

Inspired by Jodan's exemplary leadership style I have to admit we have been lax in that requirement owing to a recognition that each editor must be free to handle the task as they see fit. For how can we pretend to be champions of the freedom of expression in the writers we promote and then place arbitrary restrictions upon our editors. Or as Jodan would say, do what you want I'm on vacation.

Having trouble finding a common theme. I might have something done today, but I'm not as optimistic as before.

Opposed to polar thinking as I normally am, it is incredible that the irresistible urge to suggest you then go with an uncommon theme has overcome me. May my lack of will power and failure at self determination inspire you to greater things.

I couldn't find any coherent themes yesterday, but I've been saved. In the Pig and Slag there was a suggestion of doing an issue on Boots' work, so I'll take the lazy way out and have that done today, I promise. I'll be posting the A# in the Pig and Slag first to recieve commentary before I let go of it, but that should only be a minor delay.

I couldn't figure out how to promote boots without being rather redundant, so I went with another idea. The temp version can be found at A2197578. It's where I do all the dirty work for my issues.

Hi sneaky, one of those, the weight loss one, was CAC'd in April, which is or is not a problem depending on point of view . I recognised it because I used it.
I did have a quick look, hampered by the h2g2 search being out of action again, for related entries and there is one on Crisps at A481628. That's been in the AWW since March. Might work instead. Or perhaps Verc's 'Bing a Fan' fairly recently put into the AWW, changing the theme to fandom which certainly fits the baked beans piece.
That was a good point you made re the Boots idea. I hadn't thought of it, needs a rethink.
~jwf~ how's the open road?

I didn't realize that the weight loss had been used. I'll fix it and use the crisps peice, although I call them chips. Should only take a bit, or a few hours depending on how lazy I am today.
I'll post again when it's done.
