Well done, me? Look who's talking... I ain't got a 22 entries/year average to my name. Time just passed and I am still here. And the memories are beginning to grow hazy. Maybe one cannot start to grow old soon enough.

I wish the Italics would resurrect the animated gifs [?] that were on the front page in the very beginning. ... At least save them for histroy and such.

In that case you (and probably I as well, in fact quite a lot of people) have put in more time than any italic did as an h2g2 italic (except Jim Lynn). I did it for 20 months, which was one of the shortest stints I think. Despite liking it best.

Yeah, I realise that I am nowhere near being the eldest around and I didn't want to seem to be looking down on the Italics.

What about the UnderGuide... apart from the fact that it one of the few rather "independent" user-run ventures on h2? And fun at that...
