Time is flying passed so quickly, it was only when I was placing my order for flowers for my Mum and Mum-in-law, that I realised I hadn't yet given my Friends my Season's Greeting!
It seems like most of us will be having a 
White Christmas, whether we want it or not 
. Please take things easy when travelling, I don't want to be visiting any of you in the New Year standing next to a

We shall be visiting both Dad's on Christmas Eve. VC and her Hubby will be visiting us on Christmas Day before they visit the rest of his family 
VV will be at her partner's parents being 'introduced' to the rest of the family 
. They will be joining us on Boxing Day, so there goes the peace and quiet!
Obviously, all of these arrangements are subject to weather conditions at the time

Yes you're right that Mary and Joseph didn't travel in winter and it would be around that time.
Though that doesn't mean that Christmas has nothing to do with the birth of Christ. It is when Christians chose to celebrate it, using the Midwinter festival.
Christmas has everything to do with Christ. Proof? It's in the name.
