Greetings from deepest, darkest west of Scotland.
MrSwordStick extends a welcome hello to anyone visiting this page and a harsh warning to any ruffians looking to cause mischief.
In the world of journalism and Championship manager, there isn't much call for a silver-topped cane.
But it can be a help on the streets, oh yes. Glasgow, no mean city as they call it, can be as friendly as a poke in pince-nez-less eye at the best of times.
That's why my walking stick companion is my best friend, even more so than dog, which is obviously man's best friend otherwise.
Feel free to enter my world, but if you are a ruffian be prepared to have your chin whiskers sliced off quicker than you can say "Elementary, My Dear Watson".
