Well, what went wrong yesterday? No journal entry despite being sat in front of computer all day. Actually had to do work at work. Disgraceful. What is the world coming to when your employers actually want you to work for your money. Spent all day yesterday and some of today stuffing envelopes. Highly skilled work.
Hoping to go home early today. Power will be off from 3 til 5, no lights, no computers, no work. Weather is still sunny, so can sit outside pub for extra two hours.
Sister rang at 8.10 this morning. She was bored and wanted a chat. I was eating breakfast and had to leave at 8.15 so told her no. Probably offended her. Have to grovel later.
Talked to her last night anyway. Decided to buy father binoculars for birthday. She talked about Bloke 2 a lot. As usual. Is very dull. As soon as another subject is brought up, she involves Bloke again. Suppose I am the same about football. But at least football is interesting. And doesn't kill small furry creatures.
Speaking of small furry creatures - Mulder and Scully are driving me mad. Have decided to restrict their freedom and lock them up when I am out. Maybe it was too much letting them roam free from the beginning.
Have got job interview on Tuesday. Think company may be dodgy. Have checked them out at Companies House and have changed name almost annually. Still, if pay me good money do not care. Start college on Monday and have class on Tuesday afternoon - one hour after interview starts. Could be a close thing. Have to go to college in interview suit. Not good. Will ruin my reputation as person who dresses like bag lady.
On day off (feels like forever ago) didn't do much. Mother is on nights, so could make no noise all day. Weather was nice (warm but not hot) so went for walk. Also bought ticket for Stoke. In afternoon, when threat of waking mother was lessened, watched vid - Shakespeare in Love. Excellent. How can I have gone so long without seeing much that was good and then watch two great films in one week? Maybe should watch some more while I'm on a roll.
Football tomorrow. Looking forward to it greatly. Have feeling will win. Always have this feeling, but is particularly strong now. Mardy arse Carbone is back but banished to juniors, so might not play. All team hate him, which may create team spirit which has been lacking. Is centenary of move to Hillsborough, so to celebrate everyone will get free badge. Programme also has replica of first programme at Hillsborough in it. Should be good day.
Have calmed down on Theme Hospital front. Only played couple of hours on Wednesday and none at all yesterday. Much better. Am no longer dreaming of placing dustbins and radiators in rooms and corridors.
Parents go away a week on Tuesday for two whole weeks. Am very excited. Would like them to decide they like Malta so much they want to move there. Only problem is will have to dog-sit. Sam is lovely, but cannot be left alone all day. So must take him to Gran's. Will have to see Gran every day. Not good. She will try to feed me. Want to enjoy my freedom for the short period will have it.
Have found receipt for dentists two months ago. Cost £99 and some pennys. Can now claim money back. Will get cheque fairly soon for nearly hundred pounds. Very good. Almost like unexpected windfall.
Must go and eat, but faint from hunger.

Have actually remembered to start early enough to get something done today. Still remember weekend as well, which is a bonus.
Saturday was no football, so went to Meadowhell instead. Was ok to start with, didn't start to fill up until 11, and was still ok until 12. Had icecream at Bobbins - can't remember the flavours, something minty, something coconutty (flavour of month), and something called razzleberry or some such nonsense.
Bought 2 CDs from Our Price (£7 each - bargain!), got Cardigans (one with Love Fool, not sure which it is) and Oasis - The Masterplan. Like both, but means that have only managed George Michael and both Gin Blossoms over weekend.
Also in bargain quest took advantage of HMV's two for £30 offer on Platinum games. Got Tekken 3 and Theme Hospital. Have not tried Tekken 3 yet, as am now addicted to Theme Hospital. It just shows what a sad and twisted individual I am, that I can derive hours of enjoyment from placing rooms in a building, putting benches in the newly created hallways, and employing doctors to treat Bloaty Head and Golf Balls. Have overslept two days in a row, caused by staying up until 1 am to get to end of level. Still, tomorrow is day off, so can play all day.
Washed Mighty Mini on Saturday. In a normal person's life this would be a non-event not worth talking about. I, however, am different. I do not remember last time I washed Mini. I do, however, remember last two times Mini was washed. When had last accident in May, people who fixed car also washed and cleaned inside. As the saying goes, every cloud has a silver lining. Since then Mother has washed Mini also, thus proving that if you leave a mess for long enough, a mother will eventually clean it up. It rained today, so Mini would have got clean anyway.
Went to pictures on Saturday also (very busy day). Saw Go. Excellent film. Stop reading this and go and see it immediately. I will not say what it is about. You do not need to know. Just go and see it.
Sunday was woken by Father. Three times in one week. He will pay. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but one day he will pay. I do not forget these crimes. Woken to go food shopping. Very dull. Why are old people so slow at normal thing in life, like walking and picking food off shelf when buy same thing from same place every week? Sat outside Morrisons for 40 minutes while they finished.
For rest of day, did not much. Apart from play Theme Hospital. Must get to end of game soon as college starts next week and will have lots of work to do.
Sister is now talking about maybe moving in with Bloke 2. He shot three rabbits over weekend, and has eaten one. Do not like him. Has no one told him that men no longer need to catch their own food? Supermarkets have been invented so time can be spent more productively, and people no longer need to skin their dinner before they cook it. When she showed me a picture of him dressed like a caveman, I thought it must be for a fancy dress party. Now I think perhaps it is his normal way of dressing. When they met, he probably hit her over the head with his club, and dragged her back to his cave by her hair.
She is still in touch with Bloke 1. He has been in hospital for hernia operation. Left very pathetic message on her mobile. Seems she has two stereotypes - caveman and sickman.
She rang yesterday to moan because her boss has rung from business trip to France to tell her she had to go to Exeter to look round the shops. For work. And she moans about this. I wish I had a job where I was paid to look round clothes shops. She is going on what she calls a booze cruise this weekend and is taking the opportunity to get a new outfit (despite just buying new car). I'd swap jobs with her any day.
Today had banana on toast for breakfast (from canteen - overslept by half an hour), mushroom pizza for dinner (from canteen - got chips as well, but were horrible, so only ate couple), and have not had tea yet. Mother is painting kitchen, so may not be able to cook anyway.
After pizza, went to bookshop for couple of textbooks. Ordered textbooks have still not arrived. Will call and yell at people tomorrow. Will do no good, but will make me feel better. Anyway, bookshop no longer has law books. Have opened new branch couple of streets away, and all law books are there. Despite being in middle of student land, bookshop does not give student discount. Have paid £10 all but tuppence for two little books - Consumer Law and Family Law. May be able to read a bit before next week, to give some idea of what is going on in first class.
Have got number for place to enquire about buying shares in Wednesday. Might do it. Might not. Probably too expensive, and will probably talk to me as if small child who knows nothing. But if don't call, will not know. Might call.
Still 35 minutes to go, and almost no work to do. One letter to post, and two things someone has given me to do - but can't remember what needed doing. Are there pills to cure senility?

Oops. Nearly forgot to do this.
Only got five minutes and sister is on phone, so no time to write much.
Nothing much to tell about today. Bit of work. Pasta & bean savoury in canteen - had vegetables with instead of chips. Very good person. Prefer with chips though. Mentally had chips with it. Did more work. Will go home soon.
Tell about weekend tomorrow. If senile old mind is up to remembering that needs doing, and also remembers weekend.

Today it is too warm. And sunny. I don't like it. Apparently will be more hot and sunny over weekend. Oh joy. Will try and find cool dark place to stay until winter arrives. Perhaps will try cellar, or Meadowhell.
Was woken at 6.30 this morning. Father knocked on door to say he could hear Mulder and Scully digging. Told him it was 6.30, so I did not care. Will get my revenge when he is old and frail. Will leave him sat in wheelchair and make him watch Blind Date and anything with Dale Whinton until he begs to go to the old peoples home.
Spoke to sister. She had fight with bloke 2, she hit him and he put her in a box. They have not fallen out, they just like to fight. He shot two rabbits yesterday. She has written him a love poem. She has asked me to send her parcel of forgotten items - cardy, deodarent and Henderson's relish. They must go to her work as there is no one in the house to receive it during day. She has decided to leave shiney new car parked at home and catch bus to work every day.
Have not received textbooks yet. College starts in just over a week. Possibly will be only person in class who does not know what lecturer is talking about. This will not make a change.
No football this weekend. Very strange. Will not know what to do. Would prefer to watch Wednesday play badly than not at all. There are rumours we are going to re-sign Carlton Palmer. Am not sure how I feel about it. Will also get £2.5m and get rid of Andy Booth. Sounds like a good thing to me.
Is interview with Hirsty in Telegraph. Says he sort of regrets not insisting on a transfer when Man Ure were interested. Would have been devastated if he had, but would have been better for him. Would rather he came back than Palmer, but is always injured, so would not make any difference to relegation fight.
Have temporarily abandoned alphabetical trip through CDs. Needed Northern Uproar fix. Will go back and attempt George Michael again tomorrow. Optimistic opinion is may reach H by end of weekend. But if go to Meadowhell, will probably acquire new CDs which will interrupted alphabetical flow. Only attempting this feat as father says waste money on CDs - some have not been played in years. So what if he is right? This is from a man who owns a Wurlitzer Organ CD and plays it loud enough for the neighbours to hear.
Parents are going on holiday in two weeks. Very excited. Mother showed some more purchases - father has told her to stop buying, so she doesn't show him any more. All was horrible, but she is 54, so has no taste. Told her they were nice.
Considering weather, feel I must spend evening sat outside pub on Bridge Hill, with pint, watching world go by. Benefit of hot weather.
