It told me to introduce myself, so here goes.
I was on h2g2 years ago, so long ago that I forgot all my info including my name, doh. Nevermind, because I didnt make all that many contributions, as at that time I was accessing the site from work. Now I do not work in an office, and have a truly absurd amount of time to mess about online, so whee-heeeeeeeee contributions here I come.
My new name means 'foreign make', as in, of a car, in Russian. I use it because I'm a long-term expat, having lived in several different countries, and I now feel like a foreigner everywhere I go. Life is many things, but it is very rarely boring.
While I'm attempting to get the hang of this place, I will just put up this sad plea for attention.
Some things I know something about and like to talk about: knitting, crochet, vegetarianism, cooking, yoga, all things Russian (language included), moving and living abroad
Some things I know something about and like to DEBATE: organic food and other low-eco-impact goods, living a more eco-friendly lifestyle, politics (theory of, and practical consequences) particularly but not limited to US, UK, Russia, and EU, comparative religion....
Some things about which I know very little and would like to learn more:
Bollywood, bangra music, modern arabic music, the 'deep ecology' movement, motivations for remaining tolerant in an intolerant world, attachement parenting... and anything else you want to tell me!
