It could be worse. I once read a confidential medical/psychiatric assessment on a pensioner; it said, 'This man's communication and social skills are poo.'

ooohhh that's awful, but I suppose people get innured to the suffering, they see the same thing everyday an become cynical an disillusioned, doesn't excuse writing it down though, I really don't think I could cope with a job like that, I would want to save everyone, an would probably believe every sob story I was told
down to crunchy bacon piesce now nearly ready to pig out on, oh an got bacon an egg pie for dinner, just couldn't resist..........
where's me

The absolute worst report was a case where the doctor had used Spellcheck, but not paid nearly enough attention. The last word in the following sentence should have been 'position', I think:
'This gentleman has spent the last few years working in a clerical spittoon'.
Come to think of it, that pretty well described the office I w*rked in at the time.

that is bad, I hate the paper w**k at w**k got 4 log books to fill in every hour..........., not that any one looks at them or even takes notice, I usually fill them in just before the next shift, I once put really silly figures an no one noticed.....not even the next shift

I once circulated a draft project proposal document that contained the deliberate typo 'daft proposal' - and nobody noticed, except for one bloke who agreed with me.

I might be here for another hour or so... then I'll have to go and rest and get my strength back for tomorrow. *sigh*
Hey Ivan

yeah an early night will do you good,
I'm not on till midnight monday so I am freeeeeeeeeeeeee till tomorrow morning, then go to bed about lunch time if I think of it as a giant nap I sleep better I never sleep well on the first night shift
Hey Ivan
Ivan the Terribly Average Posted Oct 17, 2004
It's probably best *not* to sleep on night shift.
I've never been able to sleep in the daytime, unless I'm ill. How do you manage it, apart from getting thoroughly tired first?
Hey Ivan
Heleloo - Red Dragon Incarnate Posted Oct 17, 2004
I love sleep, can sleep at the drop of a hat so long as I have my earplugs< ihang rugs over the windows so the room is darkish, an have a fan to keep the air moving, up untill the last couple of weeks it has been quite cool so sleeping during the day isn't so bad, the down side is that I tend to sleep in 4-5 hr naps, so on days off I can never sleep through the night, I often get up in the early hours and then go back to bed

That's my usual sleeping pattern these days, sadly. A few hours of sleep, reading for a couple of hours around 3am, then a bit more sleep. It's highly irritating. It doesn't seem to matter how late I go to bed either.
By the way, I appear to be back in the '5 busiest conversations'. It's this thread that does the job.

I don't think I ever made the Top 10, but I did try once or twice...
I'd better go to bed soon. I'm setting 8:30 as logoff time. *sigh* I don't want to go to school tomorrow.
Hey Ivan
Heleloo - Red Dragon Incarnate Posted Oct 17, 2004
I made no1 once or twice in my early days, but usually I was 3 or 4, yeah I think I will have an early night too, then get up early so I can sleep tomorrow
I'm sorry baby, but you have to
Hey Ivan
Ivan the Terribly Average Posted Oct 17, 2004
*sniff* Not fair, but there's no other way to get money, I suppose. I'd better just grit my teeth.

Hey Ivan
Ivan the Terribly Average Posted Oct 17, 2004
No need for the story... I'm about to go to bed with the latest Jasper Fforde book. Thanks for the offer, though.
Goodnight!
