thank god it's friday...

My oh my....
I'm sitting at work, surfing through the h2g2, and my boss comes in
(Normally she never gets to the 4th floor...).
Takes a seat in the leather couch, starts talking, wants an impromptu rehearsal of my
talk and doesn't leave for two hours (not even time to close that h2g2-window(s)...).
Colleagues comin in, not seeing the boss in her corner: "Boy, what a day, you got a
coffee for me... where did the coffeemaker go???"
Me: "ahem... in the kitchen, where else..."
...... more colleagues "come grab a smoke on the balcony" (meaning the fire escape on
the roof... not really a good idea to mention right now...)
Now she left, my bloodsugar bottomed out and I'm off for a coffee. Or maybe 5.

winter approaching... *sigh*

Just now the first tangerines of this years winter landed on my desk. 
Best things of winter, they are. The supermarkets display all the x-mas stuff for weeks already - depressing.
When I look out of the window, I wish I were back in Oz instead of sitting in that boring drizzle...
Well, at least I smoke less - it's walking 4 floors down and get wet, or smoking on the fire escape and get soaked - as does the hall.
At least I found one positive point, now I can bitch along .

yes, credits to Bruce I lost my margin - even though I don't understand why it didn't work the first time. From now on I'll better check, whether the stuff I post here looks right in all 3 browsers I use *sigh*
