no!,no!,no!....you have it wrong!!!!....if it is not right it is not your fault!!!...never ever is it your fault!!!.....blame it on nobody (you know that little critter in the corner that is always breaking things just in time for someone to see YOU standing next to it)

Precisely. If you don't like it, it's not my fault. The same thing written by somebody else would have elicited the same response from you, making it not the fault of the writer of the thought, as it could have been written by anybody. The fault lies in your perception of the thought as a thing you dislike. See?

I checked the ARSE forum, and have concluded that you people have very short attention spans. You don't seem to talk much about the actual spitting. It would appear that all you engage in is trying to blame/threaten other people. Is that about accurate?

msmonsy Posted Aug 20, 1999
you seem to of summed it up quite nicely there
you did however forget the fun aspect of it...fun in an odd sort of way that is

I would like to inquire exactly how you plan on doing any actual spitting via the internet if you do manage to get the "no spitting" rule repealed. It's purely academic interest, I won't report you to the powers that be.

actual spitting??...why???....cyber spitting is so much more colorful and fun don't you think??!!!

I actually don't have an opinion on this matter, as I'm not entirely sure what "cyber-spitting" entails. Is it just typing out onamonapeia (I'm sure this is spelled wrong) that represents the spitting noise, such as "ptooie" or some such, or are there specific rules?
responsibility
msmonsy Posted Aug 25, 1999
Rules?????......never thought of that, ermmmm....we don't have any rules other than spit in whatever fashion you feel like and for whatever reason you find neccessary

I believe I shall. It will, at the very least, allow me to engage in conversation with those who are as obsessed with Hitchhiker's as I am. There's also the added bonus of zany spitting jokes and whatnot.
••••••••••••••••••••••The following is a notice from the Almagamated Association of Linguists and Other Word-Oriented Professionals. We apologize for the interruption.
In response to Mr. 52436's usage of the alleged word "whatnot", we must insist that this is not an actual word, or, if it is, it had better stop being one this instant. It usage has not been sanctioned or licensed by the A.A.L.O.W.O.P. Thank you for your time.

the following posting of the word whatnot is false.....whatnot is a word and will continue to be a word 'till the stars fall from the sky... take for instance shelves "whatnot" i mean if whatnot was not a word what would you put your whatnots on????

Icarus Posted Aug 26, 1999
If whatnot wasn't a word you'd put your whatnots on a different noun. Now, if I may inquire, specifically what is your relationship to Shazz? I noted your name on her page (which is, as you so correctly indicated, quite confusing).

How does one go about cyber-running? Is it at all similar to the rules for cyber spitting? And did you know that the prefix "cyber" has been replaced with the letter "e" as the new paradigm (yes, I'm getting sick of that word too) in hi-tech pre-concept linguistic modification alphanumeric sequences? (Source: Wired magazine)

msmonsy Posted Aug 26, 1999
yes, it follows much the same rules as cyber (sorry i am ancient and cannot get used to all the new speak) spitting .... she and i tend to hang about the same areas when online and chatter with each other quite regularly on ICQ as well

Aren't you afraid some weird scary psychotic person will show up on ICQ and bombard you with his weird scary psychotic behavior? That happens to my friends a lot, which is why I don't have ICQ. I can't cope with that sort of behavior.
