Och aye, Jimmy

Oooh I can hardly wait. Another chance to humiliate the Northern tribes. Euro 96 holds many fond memories for me; Gazza's goal was topped only by Holland scoring against us in our 4-1 win. At 4-0 up, the Dutch goal difference had put the Scots through to the knock-out rounds of an international competition for the first time ever....
And now we get to deny them again, and Wembley is once more the arena for our glory. After spending two days on redial, I am still ticketless, but the upside is it's far easier to get served in a pub, and you don't have to wait for halftime.
And all those Scots who are complaining that the Wembley ticket policy was racist? I bet they all live within two hours of London. Go to Hampden Park!!!!!!! Just because you choose to live in England (after demanding your own country back), it doesn't mean you get to move your home fixture as well.
Wembley's ours, its grass is greener, live in fear.
And book your summer holidays.

Yellow and blue might not be a manly strip, but you stuck it up the Poles and I shall be forever grateful.
I should point out here, however, that "forever" technically lasts only until we need you to lose a game.
And Belgium, stick to the truffles.

What a great night that was. It's nice to see referees set aside the rules when good old Sepp Blatter's about.
Mind you, it'll do wonders for European integration, I'm beginning to feel all warm and Swedish and relaxed about being naked. Meatballs, anyone?
