I saw your latest journal... Ain't it wonderful to have been missed? 
I'm not to H2G2 very much, having borrowed the laptop Noah took on his boat. The dial-up is very slow and I have limited monthly allowances. But I DO check e-mails several times a day, on the home address.

H2G2 and a 24,000 bps dial-up connection are not sympatico, so I am obviously NOT here. 
Mails work fine though.

I replied to your single mail today, but my work stuff has been so shajey, I don't know if it got out. Or if it did, and you replied, it might appear on Monday. Believe it or not, a note from Yael took precisely 60 hours to get to me last week.

Don't worry about it. I post when I see you on-line and having posted within minutes. It just seems that you have already left the building in those few minutes difference. (Last post above occurred when your PS showed having posted only 8 minutes earlier !!!)

A brief mail has been sent ...
I've got my in-laws in the house, from 920 or so miles away. So my on-line time this week is spotty at best. And they love to shop. So tell me your favourite day of the week, ... I'll find some cool stripey socks, ... and wear them that day each week.
