Yeah, definitely.
My stress levels are still high - /way/ too high for this early in the semester, and my immune system is still running low, and my... mental immune system thing whateverit'scalled is still running low too... but I'm looking after myself as much as possible.
There's light at the end of the tunnel. As long as no bugger starts building more tunnel it'll be all good.

good light at the end of the tunnel is a very good thing.
*wishes she could dig a whole down to where he is in the tunnel and hand down a ladder so he can climb out*

What alot of b/log. Since I'm trying not to get caught doing my work (yeah right) in my ICT lesson I think I'll read it later.

You reckon? I would say that both boys and girls are pretty when they squirm, but that girls are pretti/er/ when they squirm. As well as being prettier in general.
Just goes to show that if everyone had exactly the same opinion, the world would be a really boring place.
And now for the next update in the continuing saga: Although my course related costs application was approved yesterday (tuesday), it can take "up to 48 hours" for the money to come through. Which aparrantly is the same as saying that if the money isn't in my bank account tomorrow (thursday), then it will be there next tuesday. Okay granted friday and monday are public holidays, so any payment which would have gone through on friday will be postponed until tuesday, sure... but since when is friday 48 hours after tuesday in the first place?
This is really starting to me off, considering I have automatic payments for my rent and power, which means that $150 I don't have will try to leave my account on monday. And if the money isn't there, then the bank will charge me $25 for each AP which discredits. It would be nice if I could pass on that $50 charge to the head of the Ministry of Social Development.
In fact, just thinking about the whole situation and how they've treated me leaves with a strong and persistent desire to wander into their nearest office with a baseball bat, and demand shakespearian vengance.
I'm going to do my assignment, in the hope that it calms me down.
Yes I know that's an oxymoron.

Well at least it went through and you'll actually /get/ the money. So it's not nearly as bad as it was. Things are improving, just hang in there.

Yep.
Of course this particular payment is only a one-off payment, so I can use it as a buffer for my rent for...... six weeks maximum... assuming I don't need to eat again ever...erm... but anyway I'm /supposed/ to be using it to buy textbooks and stuff instead.
And I don't have to pay this one back, which is nice.

ooooh..... good not having to pay it back is always nice.
and be sure that you do eat something.... i wouldnt want you to get sick.

I never got to make a girl squirm, so I have no basis for comparison
*wonders how you would demand shakespearian vengance with the use of a baseball bat...*

"I never got to make a girl squirm..." You're missing out. Seriously, you should try it. It's fantastic!
(Think the merchant of Venice: A pound of flesh in exchange for money owing which didn't turn up. In this case, extracted with a bat rather than a scalpel, but meh it works for me.)

I only ever played with girls, never anything too seroius...except for once...but it was too serious to get to the squirming stage so quickly (and it didn't last, because I should know to avoid Cancerians and never do...)
Ahh, I see it know...extracting flesh would be so much more...satisfactory...with a blunt object, don't you think ?

Hehehe how about doing it with a true futurama style. The robot walks into the bank with a knife and the police on the other side of the glass say 'Freeze, this is laser proof glass' so he sticks his hand through it and waves the knife about while they try and shoot the lasers at the glass.
Or a truly ironic money extraction. I dont know how but Im sure theres a way.
Now I'm not going to promote crime but im a devout believer that stealing food is acceptable if you cant pay for it.

Good call!
Luckily, I don't have to just yet, because I got paid last night! Yay!
The strange thing is, though, that there's an extra $400 in my account, which I don't know where it came from. Everybody cross fingers that it stays there.
But yay! I can pay rent for another six weeks! They were really cutting it close, there.
Ironically, there's now more money in my account than there has been on any other day since I started uni in 2000. Combined.
It's scary how little it takes for me to be able to say that.
Yay! Stress is evaporating!
