I had a very heavy cold (not the flu) which turned into an equally nasty chest infection, which then sparked off my asthma so I was feeling very sorry for myself for a while On the mend now tho thankfully altho Xmas was a little subdued to say the least 
Did Santa bring you lots of nice things?

ive been suffering as well, over the holiday, but it seems you had it worse 
in fact this has been the worst christmas ive ever had, with one thing and another

Xmas was a bit of a non event but at least I didn't have to work.........was signed off sick to hear you've been under the weather too.......there's a lot of nasty bugs about tho

it was like that in our house..
bought enough food to last the given time with my guests and they all went home early..
it wasnt my cooking...honest

I hardly bought anything in this year......Xmas dinner was just me, kids, my mum and bro over at my ex inlaws house so I didn't bother to buy a lot......only ends up in the bin anyway
Dragged myself out on xmas eve and did all my shopping in about 2 hours otherwise no'one would've had any pressies 
only bought for immediate family tho cos things a bit tight this year

if i hadnt got my brother stopping here and paying me rent, we would have been having beams on toast
i have to go now as 
will be home soon..
