Yes, but what does it have to do with anything?
the researcher formerly known as et
keledy Posted Aug 29, 1999
ummmmmmmmmmm.. i'm not sure.
it's prolly one of those saying we're supposed to get some higher knowlege out of.... when instead it just becomes ingrained and cliche...
someone else's stuff always looks more desirable than what you have?

I know that, but what does it have to do with what we were talking about? No wait, what WERE we talkign about?!

i think somewhere we lost the point of what we might have been talking about and got lost somewhere looking at fish tanks...

Hi there, Ke-lady, (is that a new one for you?)
The Grass is always greener on the other side is a phrase originally used by mediums like Gypsy Rose Lee, to describe how much better off we will be when we have "passed over" to "the other side" all the relatives who supposedly speak to people at the seance all say how happy they are to be dead etc and the grass is always green and they don't have to mow it or weed or anything and the weather is so nice.
We British always go on about the weather, even when we're dead.
It's what comes of being eccentric.
As you may have noticed, I'm just nosing around Ex-Et's page and filling her forums with very plausible, but totally untrue drivel.
