My journal's very lonely. Will someone come visit? I'm beginning to amuse myself with building intricate toothpick structures and it's very dangerous. My towel faded in the wash but it's still nice-looking, and the pineapples talk to me. At least in pineapplese, which I can only understand if I stick avocado in my ears and do the hula. Ok, see, I'm lonely too. Help!

Slinky
Posted Jul 7, 1999
I ran into a very nice object today. It's called a Slinky and it's rainbow colored. It can expand in the most interesting way and even walk down stairs. (of course, it has yet to master walking UP stairs, which means it is as yet a primitive life form) It's name is Bob. It gave me a towel, which I am very happy about, since I hadn't yet gotten a towel. The said towel is blue and orange and yellow with green and purple pineapples.

I, the Llama
Posted Jul 7, 1999
Hi. I am a llama, posing as a human girl to learn something about the creatures that have rampaged our Earth. In regards to the no-spitting rule, let me clarify a few things. Llamas only spit when provoked. Therefore, don't provoke me. I'm sure we'll all get along fine. Anyway, I should tell you that I'm not sure what range I have in this new body. Can I even spit? Hmm. Now, to my first order of business:
I lost an eyelash just now. Does this mean I will die? I certainly hope not. Llamas have eyelashes, but we seldom lose them, and if we do it means bad luck. Humans have such small puny eyelashes that I wonder if it could mean the same thing. I shall have to wait and see. There is no protection against that sort of thing anyway, llamas tend to be fatalists.
Also, if any of you have any feedback or critisms on how I'm doing, please feel free to tell me. I miss walking on four legs but I must learn to adjust. Thank you.
