Ok, so you're not that far east of me - I was thinking possibly the New England region somewhere. Most likely you're slightly further south than you are east. I'm in western Canada, pretty much straight north(though quite a way north)of Great Falls Montana.
They're somewhat similar to brownies & actually a childhood favourite of mine. I'm sure at least in part responsible for the strength/severity of my sweet tooth. Actually more like teeth!
Oh you needn't apologize although it's nice to have some advance warning, about your abscence. I'd have wondered where you were, as I said I really enjoy our ongoing chat. Oh no, not much chance of boredom here!
Take care & chat again soon, ok.

Yeah. I'm in the "Heartland" and things couldn't be worse, as far as excitement goes.
I like brownies. I had one just a few minutes ago. I think what really induced my many sweet teeth was gooey butter cookies. I love those things.
I'm back! as far as I know, I won't be absent until maybe-no, I'll be here then too. I'm here for a while then! Ok. Yay.
I have a check up to go to on Tuesday. My optomitrist has to check up on the contacts. You said you wear glasses: are you farsighted or nearsighted?
Be good& Peace.

Hmm, not sure how I missed this earlier...but I'm glad I found it(your posting)today! Welcome back or a belated welcome back!*sigh*Yeah I've heard that mentioned-or at least hinted at-in the dialog of a dozen sitcoms over the years...I think the most recent being That 70's Show. I mean that there's nothing too exciting going on in the midwest.
I'm in a mid-sized city, so there's a great little German grocery not quite a mile east of my place. They must import 65 t0 70% of their merchandise. Years ago a friend told me about these German bars called Ritter Sport( http://www.ritter-sport.com -click on 'english' then 'products'). Recently a good friend here told me about their butter biscuit bar, a butter cookie covered in milk ...pretty good. But I prefer dark & it's like they say about chocolate with nuts, the nuts just take up space where should be!
Glad you're here for awhile & look forward to staying in touch! Take care, peace & chat again soon.

I'm glad I'm welcomed! Ugh, the Midwest is the best place for finding bad food(unless you look in the Hill)(St. Louis) and, well, field upon field of corn, grass, hay, and weeds. Mostly weeds.
We're in a very small hick town, but I just got back from a small to mid-sized city that has a health food store. I got some anti-tick soap because I'm tick-phobic. I hate ticks! I found a tick on me yesterday. Yeesh.
Just looking at those chocolates makes me want to die(of not enough . I'm ok with nuts, but they aren't my favorite. Those really, really look good. I'm glad I'm not the only chocolate eater on h2g2.
Talk to you soon.

Hello again! Oh a frequent visitor is always welcome here! I just hope I wasn't rubbing salt in the metaphorical wound of your -less-ness!
Next time you get to that health food store you might want to ask if they have any organic, like Green & Blacks or Dagoba -they're both American. Oh no you're certainly not the only eater here... A424522.
I can't say I blame you for feeling the way you do about ticks - they can cause some serious problems! And they're probably quite a problem there or in most rural areas, so the soap would pretty much be a necessity!
Take care & we'll talk soon

Ahh, no, I'll be able to survive a while more without . It's very hard though.
I'll try asking. I didn't really look in their food section.
I saw the movie "Little Shop of Horrors" last night. I have the soundtrack, but the movie's really cool too. However, they skipped the 3 best songs in the whole thing.
See you soon.

Hi! I think I might try to cut back on my consumption...Big 'might'! Like you say, it will be hard though, it's mid Aug. & I seem to really turn into a junkie from about Oct. through April. I was reading on one site about a bio-chemical explanation... contains a mineral or something that the body requires a bit more of in cooler weather. Or something like that
That's a good movie! Hmm, but yeah the songs are good too so you'd notice if 3 were missing!
Right, take care & we'll talk soon!

mindchatham Posted Aug 15, 2006
I really like , but I really don't eat that much of it, so I don't really have to worry about that....I guess.
Well, if has a mineral that you need more of during winter, I have a very good excuse to eat more! Thanks!
Yeah, I like it. The three songs were "Mushnik & Son", "It's Just the Gas", and "Closed for Renovation". There are different movie versions though, so maybe there's one with those songs. Hmm.
Talk to you later!

Hi!
My turn to say I'm sorry, for not getting back to you yesterday! Ah ~ consumers around the spend more than $7 billion every year on products.
Oh I'm sure there's a version with those songs. Maybe you could use Google to find out, or the studio's site...
But take care & we'll talk soon!

Woah. I hope that means worldwide. I could never eat that much !
Yeah. There probably is. And then there's always the play!
See you(gotta go: rodeo tonight! Yeehaw!)

jaz'd(ace & yada yada *sigh* chocolate yada) Posted Aug 19, 2006
Hi!
Oh that's gotta be worldwide! I don't think I could eat that much in two lifetimes! Even if I was eating really expensive !
Right can't forget the play!
Ok enjoy the rodeo...can be some pretty impressive stuff to watch. It probably takes alot of practice though - unless you're really good at those kind of things!
Take care & talk again soon!

mindchatham Posted Aug 19, 2006
I hope. can be expensive, but not very often can you find THAT expensive of it.
Speaking of plays, have you heard about The Phantom of the Opera? That is my favorite movie/play of all time. I'm going to see it again in New York this winter. I like it alot.
The rodeo for me is kind of more about going around looking for people you know(or trying to avoid them) than watching the cows, bulls, and horses. Although it was pretty cool. The whole night I was looking for one particular person, and at the very last I saw him and sat next to him for about five minutes. I was glad that I found him, but also was very dissapointed that I hadn't found him earlier. I had fun though. I wanted to be in the cow chase(where people get in groups of three and chase a wild cow, try to get on it, and ride it across a line), but after watching it I decided I really didn't want to break any of my ribs right then.
See you.

jaz'd(ace & yada yada *sigh* chocolate yada) Posted Aug 19, 2006
Hi!
Yeah that would have to to be Extremely expensive ...and anyway by the time I'd eaten even a billion dollsrs worth, I'd probably be pretty sick of ...maybe(well, that's my theory.)
Oh sure, actually the show is coming here(Edmonton)from the 30th until Sept. 24th http://www.BroadwayAcrossCanada.ca. I know what you mean, it's a great story & I'm sure a wonderful show too!
Sure I can see that. Alot of people show up at rodeos - a very social event in a rural community. I remember we went to visit one of my Dad's friends years ago. In a farming/ranching community & there was a big rodeo while we were there. Everyone brought different food & there was a big BBQ afterwards! At least you did find him & sit with him for awhile, that's always good.
Probably a smart move staying safe - rodeo can be awffully rough & could easily result in more than broken ribs-worst case scenario! Like they say "better safe than sorry".
take care & talk soon!

Well, if it was just one bar....well, yeah, I see what you mean.
Oh, yes. Wonderful. Absolutley great.
The funny thing is is that I don't remember there being a cow chase last year. I don't know.
See you.

Hi!
That's alot of in any case...I guess imagine all the workds oceans were liquid , or something like that!
I think at our big rodeo here http://www.canadianfinalsrodeo.ca ...yeah, there's an event called steer wrestling. It's probably pretty much the same thing, just that steer wrestling is the professional event(sort of like the major leagues in baseball or football).
But take care & we'll talk soon!

I don't have much time, sooooooo, umm, hi!
Have you ever made oragami? It's really hard.(Or maybe that's just me.)
It may not be that much . If it was just one $7 million bar then it wouldn't fill the worlds oceans. Maybe all the lovers chipped in...I don't know. Maybe it was really big or hard so everyone could have a lick.
See you.

jaz'd(ace & yada yada *sigh* chocolate yada) Posted Aug 23, 2006
Sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday!
I think I tried origami once & you're right, I thought it was hard...or would certainly take alot of practice! And in my case, alot of disappointing results!
Remember that's $7 Billion...that's alot of ! And anyway it's fun to immagine oceans of .
Anyway we're getting real thunder & lightning here so I should probably tutn off the computer...
Take care & we'll chat soon!
ACE's welcome mindchatham!
mindchatham Posted Aug 24, 2006
Ugh. Origami, for me, was a little too complicated. What we had to do was just too much folding and too few results.
Yeah, ocean upon sea upon beach upon land. Try to imagine if the whole world were made of ! Our lucky day, huh?
We're dry as a whistle(that doesn't make sense though. If you think about it, whistles accumulat a lot of spit.)
See you
